We don't know how much the Bruce Lee from Hot Toys will be tweaked before release, or how it will look in person vs. pictures. You guys may ultimately be right, but to say so now is premature.

So the rumors are picking up pace, EB BL GoD in the pipeline... I'm gonna hedge my bets on this one: hold my Hot Toys BL preorder and if EB's comes out in the meantime I"ll weigh them both up and choose accordingly. For me it'll come down to price but mainly the head sculpt - and yes, the body. Why no boxing gloves with your ETD Hot Toys? Would've rounded out the package nicely.

No, I think it's not possible, the BL 3.5 Neck connector and hands are totally different from the usual HT pegs.

I got one today and you can easly mod a Hot Toys head on to the neck. Plus it comes with different hands. I am happy to use this as my second body.

This wait is annoying me. I want to finally make a decsion if I will get this or the Enterbay BD Game of Death. I am leaning towards Enterbay already, but it all depends on how much HT improves the sculpt. It has to be equal or better in terms of likeness. Don't care about the extras or the price difference. Sculpt likeness is priority here.

Then you got it. This guy comes with two sculpts and the normal sculpt is easily up to par with Enterbay's stuff (in fact, I'm going to just go ahead and say it, HT's normal sculpt is better!). The BD Game of Death probably will only come with one sculpt anyways so there's not much to complain about with HT's BL.

Enterbay has the higher ground here. In a sense, seeing HT debut their version only makes me more excited to see what Enterbay does next.

Then you got it. This guy comes with two sculpts and the normal sculpt is easily up to par with Enterbay's stuff (in fact, I'm going to just go ahead and say it, HT's normal sculpt is better!). The BD Game of Death probably will only come with one sculpt anyways so there's not much to complain about with HT's BL.

Until now, the normal HT headsculpt has not convinced me yet, that is why im waiting to see how much it is tweaked and improved before release. And as a personal opinion, it is not better than the latest Enterbay sculpts. Not better than the ETD, Nokia GoD, FOF, or Kato. Even the WotD has better likeness, but the paintjob in the normal HT sculpt is far superior than the one on the Enterbay figures, I give them that.

So, that is the reason for the wait. If you think it looks better than the Enterbay figures, that is fine, but to me, they still have ways to go.

How are you going to make a decision and lean towards Enterbay when they have not shown anything, not even a prototype with the BD GOD Bruce yet?
Also the normal sculpt of Bruce from HT is spot on, and its from someone who has the Nokia GOD version.

Angolz just added this for pre-order at $195. Unlike BBTS and other sites, Angolz put up at actual price once listed and usually are a good deal less than other stores it seems to me and so it surprises me to see such a high price. They seem to really try to undercut others and many times are $20 - 40 less than Toys2, etc, and yet on this figure they're no different than anyone else, for whatever that means.

I was really expecting to see this at $165 or something on Angolz, but instead it's looking more certain like you're not going to get this anywhere for less than the $200 mark. That is a tough price, I think, maybe a dealbreaker for a bum like me.

Angolz has always been the saving grace for my collecting habit - any figure I have to get from the States comes with a $40 shipping bill, and it's nice to be able to feel like I'm getting a fair deal whenever I pick up a Hot Toys figure.

I was hoping the same as you re: Bruce - but not every figure will be cheaper than the US stores, the T-800 being a good example.

This will probably be a deal-breaker for me too - I already have EB's FoF version, and another Bruce in my small collection will look a bit out of place. If it was cheaper I could've justified it, but this figure just went from a priority-one to a priority-maybe.

Bummer, because the paint in particular looks awesome

For one, Enterbay has done many more figures, therefore I think they are more experienced with Bruce Lee sculpts. Again, IN MY OPINION, the normal looks like Bruce, yes, and in your opinion it is spot on, but it still needs work as it does not have the likeness that the Enterbay one has. But in the paint department, the Hot Toys one wins. And from what little sneak pics Arnie Kim has shown, I think it will be the best sculpt yet from Enterbay, just waiting to see if Hot Toys does end up fixing it enough to the point where, TO ME, it does have enough likeness or if not more than the Enterbay one.

Likeness is my buying point.

No, it has nothing to do with the new GoD, it is just to show the difference and improvement from the past releases.

Again, I am not saying the HT normal sculpt is crap, I'm just saying it does not have the amount of likeness of the Enterbay one. I know Hot Toys can improve, but we'll see how much.
