Funny that you say that…I finally have some better left hands on the way! Soon.Beautiful figure and body mods but im sorry that left hand scares me
The left hand looks like the kenner figure lightsaber holding hand though.
Or re-use the snowspeeder boots repainted to Dago color. The stock boots have the accuracy of a 4" figure from 20 years ago.Really makes you think why did HT not just make the clothes a bit bigger in order to be more accurate.
Is it something you just brush on?I used something I use in my job in film to weather textiles/costume elements - can't recommend it highly enough and it's washable if you go overboard and want to knock it back.
I tried to refrence shots of Luke as he's just pre-saber duel and arrived at Bespin (Didn't wanna go so far as to tear or scuff the clothes)
I also had to print him a little Dagobah/Muppet Show blaster to make him that extra but special and to match my display blaster.
You mean you have a full size version of the Dagobah arrival/Muppet show blaster on display?I used something I use in my job in film to weather textiles/costume elements - can't recommend it highly enough and it's washable if you go overboard and want to knock it back.

Yeah I just used brushes, cotton buds and fingers...building it up in layers slowly. I mostly used the dark gray stick. Is it something you just brush on?
I know I've complained plenty in this thread about the just back from the dry cleaners clean suit but I've actually gotten used to it
Still, yours looks really good. I'm tempted to do it myself if its not too complicated to apply.
I'm something of an obsessive Blaster builderYou mean you have a full size version of the Dagobah arrival/Muppet show blaster on display?
Thanks for the tip. I might give this a try.Yeah I just used brushes, cotton buds and fingers...building it up in layers slowly. I mostly used the dark gray stick.
There were people on here in rapture over the new face sculpt when it appeared on the Mando Luke but I have to agree that it's a little bland as an expression, even if the likeness is terrific. I do kind of miss the Jedi/snowspeeder sculpt's determination now that I swapped it out with this one I have so many Lukes (20) the mix I guess is what's important.View attachment 670864
Okay. It's a good looking figure, no doubt. But.
Something about it...almost too perfect. The outfit is very form-fitting to a fault. The portrait is nice. A little on the vacant side, so glad to have the movable eyes to spice it up a bit. The boyish, earnest look to him that the snow speeder pilot version features is really missing with this head sculpt. I like it, but I don't love it. Maybe time will be the leveler here. It's reminding me of some other popular HT figures I've picked up that just ended up back in the box. The ESB Vader, TPM Maul...really well-produced, fine figures that just miss the mark for me somehow. I still end up with the other, earlier versions of these characters out on display.
I'll keep checking other images as they come in to see how other folks are responding and leave this displayed on my work table for a while and see if my opinion changes...right now, it might be back in the box for this one.
The hand pictured is a Bruce Lee hand. It’s actually the same hand as the Snowspeeder Luke hand but just a tiny bit smaller. Now I need to know where you got those hands
Thank you, it always bothered me how huge hands look on Luke figures, why HT thinks normal hands look good on a smaller almost female sized figure is beyond me lmaoThe hand pictured is a Bruce Lee hand. It’s actually the same hand as the Snowspeeder Luke hand but just a tiny bit smaller.
