So Lando and the Death Watch aren't actually in hand yet.

We normally get our imports next day from Asia but they have incredibly bad weather at the moment causing delays.
Fingers crossed it improves tomorrow so we can get these Friday.

Mine says the same now that I've relooked since yesterday.
Could be 2 weeks til I have this guy in hand.

It might be a shipping thing. I hate that shipping isn't included in the deposit, because that's when they can add on more money and hold the figure to ransom, sellers in general, not specifically KGH. Landos shipping is 300HK if you buy him now. I think at the time it might have been around 180HK.

Nah, they actually did overcharge me $160HKD so thanks to your info I was able to get a refund. Only works out as €17 but it all counts. Thanks!

I'm never sure if KGH are always trying to pull a fast one or they mess up but I never seem to get invoiced the amount I'm expecting. Mando Luke is probably my last PO with them and this time I've made a note of everything.

I went off KGH at one time because they kept making errors, and started ordering more from One Sixth Kit instead since he's been much more reliable.

With Kit delivery is always included so you know exactly how much you owe when the final invoice arrives. Kit's current delivery method is also pretty much on par with delivery times from before the Covid Wars. (5-7 days).

KGH did improve after the bad patch they went through, as there were no further issues with my outstanding preorders. I have a few preorders left with them, one of which is fully paid - which is the only way to secure the delivery estimate.

I think I currently have orders with about six.

Hong Kong/China: OSK, GianToy, KGH and TNS.

UK: the Facebook group (which sources from one of the above ), and Mad About Horror for Trick or Treat's 1/6.

I've found OSK and GT to be the most reliable HK retailers. In fact Kit has delivered perfect service for years.

Can you cancel your PO and get a Gift card from them?
Then use THAT gift card to grab something else that you can be patient for?

It's worth a try.
Maybe call them rather than email,as I know a lot of people were having long response times.
I'd have your order number handy too if you do call them.
They helped me last year when I needed them.

Wow that's a bummer. I usually check what the deposit was. Just calculate the full price and see if you're invoiced the correct amount or not.

Doesn't sound good if KGh overcharges their PO customers...

I've noticed in the past, on occasion, that the charge for shipping in the final invoice for a pre-order has been higher than the charge for someone buying the same item once it's in stock.

It gets a bit more complicated though, as they usually raise the item price when something's in stock. The shipping price, however, ought to remain constant.

Not so sure if they do free shipping on POs. All of my POs says $0 in shipping but it’s been added to the final invoice.

I bet it is. They’ve had two typhoon delays right in a row there. I placed an order with TW just before the first one hit around the 8th and it’s been in the “preparing” stage ever since.
