I can't think of one Lando figure that hasn't peg warmed going all the way back to the vintage days. Even Skiff Guard.

It was so burnt into my memory that I remember being shocked he went for so much when he was first released in POTF2 - that is until they started flooding him like 'monkey' Leia.

And his buddy Lobot was right there next to him.

Not hating just reminiscing really. I would have probably bought this if we had a Bespin Han to go with him. Perhaps one day if that happens Lando might finally get his due and be a sought after figure. Wouldn't that be something.

New collectors in the future screaming for a re-release.

Let's face it, this was a pretty weak figure - only a so-so likeness (inferior to the old SSC sculpt likeness,) stiff and weird cape, oversized pleather boots, narrow pants instead of bell-bottoms and re-use of the same garbage blaster seen with Leia Hoth, Imp gunner etc. And ugh that crap cardboard backdrop instead of the 3D Bespin hallway piece that came with Leia Bespin.

If this Lando was a superb release then it would be fair to talk about the character as peg warmer. But like the Snowspeeder Luke before it, it's harder to evaluate a slower selling fig when there's so many missteps from HT, starting on that Luke figure with their decision to use the old Luke sculpt (re-used on at least 3 previous releases) when a noticeably superior new sculpt had already been previewed, and a helmet that was no more accurate than the old SSC Red 5 one - part of a surprising number of lazy/inaccurate outfit choices by HT.

You can partly add in the new Luke Bespin to the list, with its straight from the dry-cleaners outfit and its embarrasingly bad boots (huge step down from DX07 boots), though that didn't stick around anywhere near as badly as Lando or Luke snowspeeder and was balanced out by positives like the new sculpt and very nice base.
