3 things I like about this release, 1. Ht is giving us characters for our figures to fight (pedators don't count lol) 2. That HS is amazing 3. Ht is willing to do figures that were not really demanded at all by fans! This is the greatest thing as it shows that we don't neccessarily decide what ht is to make, I dunno I'm glad ht has a mind of its own, ill be buying this to go with spidey, and if I don't like it at least I can use all that stuff for other bashes

Indeed. Diversity is a good thing. Just getting the main character of each series and movie is boring same with just the main villain. Getting this kind of variety goes a much longer way in making a more interesting roster of characters down the road. This figure is a good chance for Hot Toys to test a lot of things and it is more interesting than say a Venom or Sandman would have been, even if the character is not nearly as memorable.

It's like in a fighting game crossover. If all you do is pick the most iconic characters, it actually makes for an uninteresting roster. It's when you pick the best ones and then slip in a few lesser known ones or more creative ones (Shuma Gorath or Raiden/Big Bear for example) that things get really interesting.

its weird, but I got more satisfied with this figure than CR superman. Nothing to complain about this one, except the reason for chosing him over green goblin, doc ock, etc. but the hs is supreme and made by an unkown. weird.

I had this idea that they could make his arms light up like Tony Stark and then put the pumpkin bomb in his hand to make it glow.

But since they didn't do that ( probably to keep cost low) I think im gonna mod it with the Stark body and then drill a hole in the pumpkin bomb myself and add green lens

Guess I'm one of the few but I actually like the Spiderman series. S3 definitely had it's fair share of problems but I like the look of the figure so I'm all in.

Wow, his likeness is perfect! I could already see it before, but now it just shows the level of realism this new sculptor achieved. I hope they hire that person a lot more often.

The parts about Spider-Man 3 that I actually liked were Sandman and New Goblin, so I am pretty happy with this figure. After the inevitable Black Spidey, I really hope HT will make a Doc Ock. He is on my top 5 most wanted 12" figures.

I hope it isn't too expensive. Hopefully, he actually stays at the 150 price tag like Spiderman, but maybe that is too optimistic.

I think this is a nice figure, with a good likeness....but I hate the character. It's a shame, I like Franco, just yeah....easy pass. Congrats to those who get it though, it should be pretty awesome.
