At least 70% of blockbusters in 2023 have bombed so far. Problem isn't the box office. The problem is no one wants 80 year old Indy on their shelf, when we haven't had a proper young Indy in many years. They should've announced them both at the same time. Indy at the beginning, and end of his adventures. Complimentary pieces.
Is this a must-have for anyone...?
I will be shocked if this doesn't go up for PO... but at the same time, I'm kind of betting it doesn't. The whole HT vs Ford thing is fascinating and I hope it continues.

All I know is I am not buying Dump of Destiny Indy, I am putting my $$ towards rebuilding Raiders Indy and building Last Crusade Indy.
I was really, really hoping we would get a Raiders and Crusade Indy from this. Crusade is the only one Sideshow never made and their Doom one sold out pretty easily so I had a fools hope that they would jump on board of Hot Toys didn’t.

Same! Was a bit let down SS offered nothing but not surprised. Could be Disney telling them they have too offer Old Man Indy first? Anyhow I am confident the custom I am working on will be better than what they can offer anyhow.

It's up for pre order at sugo, i think it's just sideshow. Same with the garfield Spider-Man it wasn't up ar sideshow but everyone else had it for months

On the one hand it's sad to see how neglected this forum has become. Reports are ignored so it's not even worth bothering reporting anything now.
On the other hand I don't really care any more, because it's a nice to be free and not have to waste so much time proactively and reactively keeping the forum in order.
I could point you to an instance of a mod bypassing the language filter last month, so the rules don't count any more either.

Well, I was buying 2, one for DoD figure, the other for parts.
I have ended up buying none.
Once I had heard about JND Indy, my sixth scale Indy's seemed a lot less important.
Granted, I've not seen the statue reveal yet, but on past performance, it's surely going to be the best Indy figure ever produced, so I'd rather have that dominating my display.

It’s pretty sad reading this thread. I enjoyed the movie quite a bit. It’s somewhat a “standard” formula movie but I enjoyed it for what it was. Indiana Jones. I’m not understanding why so many people seem rather disgruntled or what so many people were expecting that everyone seems so unhappy about. I took it for face value. An adventure with “Old” Indiana. Wonderful fun!
Todays movies are mostly ****. I watched the trailers and don’t remember a single one of them due to the fact that everything I watched was seemingly offensive to my intelligence. The dialogue is crap, the concept is crap and what they’re feeding us is hardly worth going anymore.
I’m not a film critic nor do I want to be. There’s very few movies that make me want to attend. I found this movie fun and entertaining which is a lot in a world filled with really ****** movies. This wasn’t one of them for me. I enjoyed it thoroughly.

I didn't care for the CG, too much too often. But I loved this one. It can never be as good as the first 3 but I went with my die hard Indy friend and we both came away really having a good time. I want this, only because I doubt we will get a truly good young Indy, this sculpt is perfect, if not very very close.

But remember, is it really the sideshow freaks forum without the same 2 or 3 guys making the 100th painfully unfunny Dial of Destiny puns that everyone must hear?

I noticed this awhile back. I reported a lot of posts from someone who was making lots of trouble to say the least in one of the DC statue threads that were ignored until I made a ton of screenshots and sent them to different mods who seem to finally take action as I believe that member is now banned but it took a lot more effort than I think it should have (you may have seen some of the screen shots if you recall when I asked for my photo albums to deleted). I wasn't trying to get them banned mind you as I tend to not really care what ppl say on here all that much and I'm sure anyone who knows me on here knows I'm no snowflake; but, I did think that member took things too far and some action needed to be taken given what that member was saying to a lot of us in that thread at the time.
I don't think I've ever seen HT tease and preview a figure for a major film with a major star -- and the only figure from that movie in fact... and then not put it up for PO for a month.

I don't think it's just Sideshow. Nothing at Timewalker or Alter Ego. This does seem really odd.
