Sorry I meant Indy 6. Lmao

I actually liked Dial more than Skull. I think.

Skull is so f****** boring. There's one big action scene... and its includes Tarzan monkeys, a badly "blue-screened" sword fight on a jeep, some "hit-in-the-nuts" jokes, and some jack-ass saying "Jonesey" every 5 minutes.
Definitely not great but imo better then a nonstop unattractive annoying woman who you just hope a plane falls on her at the end. I honestly only liked the start of DOD and after that felt bored the rest of the time.

She was definitely made way too annoying. I say that as she felt like the complete antithesis to Indy and it didn't work.
I was happy to see her and the boy come around, because she was certainly clever like Indy.

Also, using Mutt the way they did was really effective and is now one of my favorite scenes in the movies.

I didn't care for KOTCS on my first watch, but came back to it a couple years later and just enjoyed it for what it was rather than scrutinize it. Never really liked Shia as an actor so didn't care for him as Mutt, but didn't mind the Mutt character.

I would say I liked DOD about the same as KOTCS. Didn't too much care for SO MUCH focus being put on Phoebe Waller Bridge's character as it took away from the main attraction and title character, the man himself. It had some fun "Indy" moments though.

I've got no problem with women, so I enjoyed DoD very, very much. It's liberating when you let go of all the hate.
I don't either but when it's the same bs girl boss thing it gets annoying. At the very least had she been better written she would have been fine. But it's Disney doing the usual. Film on first watch is fine if you ignore all of the issues, after that it becomes apparent.

I watched Dial again last month and still found it entertaining to a degree. I wasn't expecting Raiders going into it and I sure didn't get it when it was over, lol. I enjoyed it more than Skull for sure. That was a straight Disney movie before they got the rights.

Honestly feel the opposite. I think I prefer Skull more as it still had some respect for Indy then DOD did. But yeah between the two honestly they will never top the OG trilogy.

Agreed. I wish they just would have stopped after Crusade.
Crusade had the perfect ending for Indy. If they did a 4th it should had been before Ford got any older. And also not let Lucas add stupid aliens or "Inter-deminsional beings" into the film. Lol
