Happy to report it came out pretty good just giving the rubber abs and neck piece a fresh top coat. :D

Thanks again Clownz :hi5:

Looks great Yankee. If you gaved it a silver base coat and with the red paint still fresh you could lightly scrape the red paint with a exacto knife leaving the battle damage scratches.

I pulled the inside enough to get my exacto knife in there to cut the rubber plug. Once apart I scraped the remaining rubber from the hole so when I put it back I have enough to plug it back in with epoxy glue. If this makes sense lol.
I have no idea what you're talking about. Are you referring to separating the torso or the neck piece?

I know this is nothing to do with Iron Man, but for those of you who have the Gaia Color 41 paint, i discovered today that it's great to use as blood in custom painting.
I am working on a Jedi that survived Order 66(Not entirely unscathed), and did some facial scarring tests with a dremel and this paint on a HT TTM head, and it looks really good.
Just in case anyone reading this has been looking for a decent paint colour to use for blood.

Barry, my good fellow.

If I was to send you a Mark IV and VI pair of undies, how much would you charge me, to fix them? Hopefully do me a fav, for helping you find that Hawkeye figure, eh? Eh? ;)

You know what you're doing. I don't.

I wouldn't want to post them until after Xmas, but just to get the ball rolling. I'm UK based.

Sup guys, asked yankee for some advice and he directed me to this thread. After putting some thought and planning I decided to fix the fading on my Mark 4 and if that went well I was gonna do the same for my Mark 3.

And after stripping the paint. Going over with some Tamiya Clear Red to give it some more red color. And BAM

The color is a little off but I like it. My friend let me use her Micron pen to redo the black lines.

The back of the neck faded too but i just put some Clear Red over that and I like it. Not a 100% match but I like the result.

Oh! And to give the gloss I Clear Coated everything I painted with Pledge with Future Shine. Guys Future is awesome ;)

Yeaa, it's hard to get stuff like that out here in Hawaii. I have to fly to another island to get modelling stuff. The micron pen was the easiest and best option at the time
