It could go the MCU way and wallets get destroyed or it could be The Matrix, one and done.

I heard Joost said something along the lines of someone was sniffing around the license for a while.

The Bond franchise is massive and demands a lot of figures. EON and Danjaq are very strict licensors, otherwise they wouldn't give the license out.

I don't think that's the case here though. 6 actors playing the same role, with multiple looks and dozens of villains, allies and girls. I think this license will be huge for HT, though they'll start off slow.

One thing I'm happy to see is all the excitement and enthusiasm for a franchise that seemed like it was waning.

It was Sideshow's initial 007 line that ultimately pulled me into 1/6th collecting exclusively.

This “line” is going to be small. I would temper expectations. If I were them, I’d do three figures: Craig, Connery and Brosnan. Done. Pleases everyone. The supporting casts aren’t in real demand imo.

But I have a feeling it’ll only be Craig, and I’m glad his iteration is the most popular Bond and that works out for me. As long as it’s Casino Royale.

I hope we at least get Connery, Craig and Brosnan. Any others would be icing on the cake.

If they end up doing any Bond Girls I hope it's Honey Ryder in her bikini. She's the most iconic.

I think SDCC will reveal how big the line will or will not be. If it's going to be big, they'll have a lot of prototypes on display. I suspect it will be light, 3 or 4 Bonds as people have stated previously...

Really cautiously optimistic about this. Bond is beloved to me, even the godawful Moore films. Must be the time of my life I first saw them. All I have is a couple of third party Craig figures and they are ok I guess but this announcement is yeah, huge.

It makes sense they are seeking something new given the wane of pretty much most licenses they have been doing the past 10 years.

I don’t think they will sit on this license and I pray they don’t. They need to go all in and give us a Lazenby damnit lol.

If they only give us one i guess it will be Craig and I would be happy with that even if my heart is breaking over no Connery. The suited version at the end of Casino Royale would be beautiful. As would a Goldfinger suited version.

Vesper would also be an obvious choice and if I had any say lol I would be shouting for an Ana De Armas figure. A Tatiana from FRWL would be gorgeous.

And Red Grant. I NEED a Red Grant. Lol.

So HT, bring your Yulli/Viva Lai A game to this!!!!

See, there's another license. Matrix. One-and-done for HT.
Are you sure it’s not two and done? No wait, you are right, one and done.

If its a small run, but larger than a single figure, I would hope for at least: Craig and Connery, bookends so to speak... and maybe a Vesper or Pussy Galore or Oddjob and Goldfinger again. This is where it gets tricky. Which girls, which villains... many want Jaws, but without a Moore figure, it doesn't make sense.

Anyway... if I get a solid Craig and Connery out of this, I'm golden.

Everything else is a bonus. And I will likely buy everything else.

When it comes to Connery’s movies, I’d only buy him, specifically in the gray Goldfinger suit or the Dr. No tux.
Craig’s films is where I’d buy some villains.

Could you imagine this scene in 1/6th LOL

But seriously, Le Chiffre would be an excellent choice.

I would be most likely to buy a Brosnan - it should be from GoldenEye but you wouldn't put it past HT to make him from his worst film, Die Another Day - that's if they were given the freedom to choose.

HT usually starts with the worst -- that is, if they plan to do others.

If they start with the BEST... then likely that's it.

So if their first figure is Casino Royal Craig, good sign its a one-and-done. But if they start with, say, QoS, then they'll be making more Craigs.

Get that 'eager money' first.
