I'm not expecting much. I'd love a Brosnan, Craig, and Vesper, but would be surprised if we got even two of those. Those Big Chief figures did not exactly set the Bond community on fire. While Hot Toys would have a better reach, I don't see them going deep, especially on 60 year old representations that already got done recently, like Connery in Goldfinger and Dr. No.

That's because they were doomed from the get go. They were lucky to get the license, and spent more time on packaging and accessories than the paintwork and body.

Finally, the Bond license is at an amazing company.

A HT Sean Bean Trevelyan would be amazing. How cool would an N64 exclusive be 🤣🤣🤣

The Nendroid Snake included an alternate PS1 polygon style head.

I feel like Hot Toys only got the license to spite Inart who said on a stream that they were interested in the Bond license.

There are some big dreams thrown out there of secondary characters when this is a company that never released a Pfeiffer Catwoman since 2011.

I would only expect a couple of Daniel Craig Bonds because it has been mentioned before that 2008 was when American/British movies became more popular in China.

My expectations are tempered but I do hope to be wrong.

I'm not expecting that Hot Toys is gonna be as expansive at Sideshow. But a handful 007s is probably the best we're gonna get. I'm in for a Connery and a Moore at least.

Truth of truths, no one here really expects more than a Craig and maybe, if we're lucky, a Connery. That's about it.
Hot Toys has a track record riddled with incomplete lines, non-starter licenses, and counterintuitive choices. The above is a given.

I would have liked to see Craig's tactical turtleneck look as an exclusive or something, and Spectre's Día de Muertos look from the opening scene, but those are straight up pipe dreams, never happen.

EDIT: I just re-watched the Spectre scene and noticed that some of the roof structures he walks on (ductwork, HVAC components) are unrealistically durable.

I actually think the tactical look from NTTD might be one of HT chosen looks b/c that is something their more capable of achieving, tailoring wise, than a finely tailored suit.

Never a big fan of 1/6 figures in 2- and 3-piece suits. Seems a bit boring to me.

There was a 3rd party clothing set from Skyfall that was offered and eventually cancelled. Had some great sweaters. I have yet to find a decent 1/6 sweater
