EDIT: my reply (below) has proven to be false. Sorry to have mislead anyone if they read it. Didn't want to delete, so folks understand the flow of the conversation that followed, if that even matter :lol

There was word from the LightCast show (who have a lot of insider news and one of the groups that have been at the head of the SnyderCut news/movement for a long time) that Hot Toys actually made a prototype of the original Steppenwolf design, but it got pulled when WB dropped that design for the Josstice League look. Not sure how true it is, but they had been pretty on point with everything that has happened with the SnyderCut as it was coming along, so I have no reason to not believe them.

I think they were going by some guy on twitter who was going around saying he was a hot toys USA rep. He spewed a lot of ******** and those YouTubers fell for it. I think I mentioned it here and everyone agreed that it was all ********.

It was an interesting situation with the dude who claimed to work for HT. Because for me the litmus test--and I asked him this multiple times on Twitter--was if he could tell us simply whether the JL Superman head sculpt was going to be magnetic (like Flash) or standard, and if it was a repaint of BvS with hair part on the same side as before. And every time he ignored it.

I was actually trying to support him, mind you! Like if you're for real (and we would love for that to be the case) here's a way you can gain cred. Especially since JL Superman was due to release very, very soon. The guy was obviously sharing so much inside info on models from Zack's shoot that would get him fired, etc. But he wouldn't answer that one relatively minor thing.

That tilted it to me to him trolling. It was a pretty epic troll though, haha. A lot of us wanted it to be true. Had a few Twitter convos with Zodwriter about that at the time, and more or less agreed with him that the community was pretty savage to him if indeed he was for real. But again, he coulnd't simply reveal those details about a head sculpt that was finally coming out literally in a just few weeks? Too bad, it would have been very cool if he was telling the truth.

Cool, I didn't know any of that. Sorry didn't mean to drudge up old (and wrong) news. I'll edit my post so no gets mixed up from a bad post. The ppl on LightCast had been pretty on point with a whole bunch of SnyderCut stuff, so I didn't think of even fact checking anything that they mentioned. Of course, this was while I was out of collecting for nearly a year, so I also didn't care too much as I figured I wouldn't be buying anything anyway.

This 3rd party head looks pretty good, prefer this over the smirking one.

Just a heads up: I put together a forum for folks that love to talk about Zack Snyder's DC films. Please come on by and hang out! thesnyderverse.proboards.com

Moderators, I promise will only try to get the word out in the threads that feature Zack's characters!

Damn, Zack getting the lighting on the JL cowl making it look damn good. What a beast.

Yeah, that’s the best the JL cowl has looked yet - apart from the initial reveal poster showing all the heroes standing together.

And it’s probably an old pic - the Snyder cut had finished filming before they even decided to bring Joss in - only VFX hadn’t been done.

Has this happen to anyone else? Left the elbow bent at 90 degrees for only a week in a closed Besta cabinet, and it stuck together and peeled off. I opened 3 Batman at the same time (Armored, Tactical, JL reg), and noticed the next day there was a strong paint smell in the cabinet. Should've known better, and didn't think a week was that long.. never had this happen before..

Also permanent-looking creases at the armpit. Didn't have this with SS Batman that I've had for a couple years.

If it's like other materials the creases will probably work themselves out a bit.

Compare again in a day or so.

Real materials crease too, even the on set costume.

Yeah, I'm less concerned about the crease since its at a point its suppose to. The material stuck/peel off was concerning, but I won't lose sleep over it. Just wondering if this is due to this particular material, or the length I posed it in, or how this MISB was stored at that particular store.

It happened due to the the duration of the pose, I'd have my figures in neutral poses while they are in the shelves. They'd look better like that than being in awkward poses taking up space.

I'm gonna quote myself when someone complains that the suit can't handle being clamped overtime with the flight stand.

Anything that causes stress is not ideal for your figures. Even with foam or fabric, it just pinches the material.

Even real leather can't handle such stress without leaving a mark. I have no idea why people would argue that a $300 figure should be able to withstand the test of time?

Your $1000 iPhone breaks down as you use, so what's the difference?
