I think they focused more on the Bruce sculpt than the mask



I think this is better than any custom or statue I’ve ever seen

Yeah, that sculpt is spot on. But the mask and body needs work

Does anyone else think that this head sculpt feels more suited for the Batman v Superman look.
or maybe it's just my bais thinking that Hot Toys purposely held off on a Bruce Wayne head sculpt with most of the DCEU Batmen.
I don't get it. When there's a few unmask sequence of Batman in the DCEU movies. If most of the Ironmen figures get a TOny Stark head sculpt.

Pretty confident that this will be like BvS prototype, and all those that miss the pre-orders risk missing out on what will very likely be another great Batman from Hot Toys.

No because he has less scruff but can’t wait to see someone mod this Bruce sculpt to look like BVS

Remember they even showed Bruce shave in JL. Not sure he even shaved in BVS

Definitely glad I got the pre order on this. I want to get every variation of Batman Hot Toys has to offer quite frankly. I'd also like to do the same for Superman. This looks good so far, I think they'll beef up the body and fix the cowl a bit more as well.

At least the extra abs "armor" aren't as noticeable compared to the real suit..

Prototype's suit behaves differently compared to either the BvS or SS versions of the previous suit, like how it folds along the crotch/upper thighs.

Cape is also similar to the material they're using for the Tactical Suit, that is fabric with perhaps rubbery print to simulate leather texture. Could be more durable than pleather, so could be a good thing at least in terms of longevity.

Cowl and faceplates don't look as good together as the previous BvS cowl. Hopefully HT makes all the improvements needed given the long timeframe for release.

I agree. I hope Hot Toys works on that cowl. They do have a year though which is a pretty long time in my opinion to get it right.

Wow. That proto is well and truly awful. But if history is to be believed this will be awesome by the time it releases. You got one year hot toys! Aaaaand go!

It's the body..or the suit around the body. Arms are way too baggy. So the arm muscles aren't as defined. And compared to the BvS figure, this JL figure skipped legged day hard. Totally miss the thick, defined thighs. Overall this guy just isn't as ripped compared to the pure yoked monster on my shelf that is the bvs...but damn I love the sculpt

Would they really change the body from the BvS ?

I did see Clipperking modded the BvS suit by gluing the sleeves ends to the end of the arms. This took out any slack at the joints. Which I also see on this figure.

I imagine this would also help with muscle definition on arms and legs if u did it on all 4.

That unmasked sculpt is awesome. Not a fan of everything else, but I'll definitely get the head when it's parted out on eBay.

Weird how the Affleck sculpt has stubble, but the faceplates for the cowl don't.
