Just the time it takes from release in Hong Kong to here. Had a couple of successful orders from Hong Kong so I have no reason to buy from sideshow.

Nothing against sideshow as a company. This is how old this pre order is. It was my first attempt an online pre order( usually got my figures from comic shops or ebay). So now I know.

I gotcha. I ordered a Deluxe Luke from Toys Wonderland and got it weeks ago, and I think Sideshow is just starting to ship him. I?d definitely order there more but the prices are kind of all over the place. Luke was cheaper than Sideshow but Superman is like $340.

The suit colors look good.

This looks much better. I?m interested in seeing more in hand pics soon. Hot Toys uses some bizarre photo choices to promote their products.

What happened here with JL Superman is HT’s fault in Hong Kong. Sideshow is just their primary North American distributor. You’ll get the figure fastest from SS and they give you the flex-pay option. I don’t really have an issue with SS. HT is another story. But they get the licenses for DC figures so it is what it is.

This is what I was hoping for actually. The neck looks okay. Chest sigil size looks fine. Plus maybe a halfway decent wired cape. I’m encouraged by this.

Yes, as always in hand pics (so long as they are decent with no lens distortion) should put to rest any concerns. Well usually.

But this does look good. And I'm also very happy they added a wired cape. Something he definitely needs. Can't wait to finally get this guy !

I wasnt planning on getting this figure but the lack of attention from.Hot Toys is disappointing. I was someehat looking forward to how HT wpuld.handle the suit and its reflective design. The suit suppose to have shinny detail and its absent in the figure

Wonder when we're going to get a Youtube review on this guy ? Even better a comparison video. I guess with Xmas delivery time will be slow. Hopefully on the weekend.

Looking at some of the stills compared to the photos posted by Hot Toys and those of the figure in box. The in box figure appears to have a correct placement of the shield in terms of where the bottom point falls in relation to the abs, which is why, to my eye, it looks better.


However it still looks like the angles of the shield are a little too sharp compared to the screen version, which is why it looks small. The screen version appears to have an ever-so-slight curve to the sides of the shield which lends a tad extra to the overall size.

Now that my initial disappointment for no revised headsculpt has subsided, I think it turned out well for what it is. Colors looks great and the comparison pic from a few pages back do show that HT upgraded their technique with this type of suit. BvS suit looks a little dull/flat in comparison. Still not sure if I will grab this or not. If I do, I will probably use my RPs to get it for free.

Yeah, I've never liked the overly photoshopped blogger pics that Hot Toys always posts. To showcase a figure all you need are well lit, clear pics.

Not confirmed yet, still waiting for the first in hand review.

I'm curious about the cape. Seems to be a feeling its wired. In some of the blogger pics it certainly looks that way while others it looks like the original drape cape. Hopefully they weren't just using photoshop or some other trickery to get that effect.

Completely garbage.... Collectors need a justice league screen accurate... The mouth is 100000% off from the movie. Lol
