Ok WW is the new version there. The rest look the same as SDCC. I fear when the pics go up for Superman it'll be a straight lazy repaint. The others have received backlash with each release. Aquaman needs a serious tweaking. Flash has no faceplates or unmasked head. Superman looks great from the neck down. Cyborg, WW and Batman look great but we demand an unmasked head for Batman.

Round two of Superman sculpt freak out. Went through this same exact thing last year between MoS and BvS Superman when the MoS sculpt was shown on BvS Superman as a placeholder. :lol

As for the suit, are there any differences at all between BvS and JL? I always thought the BvS figure's suit was a tad too dark (reflected more how it showed up on screen most of the time) and that the color of the suit on this figure is more accurate to even the BvS suit under normal lighting. If everything else on it is roughly the same, I'd pick up the body for this figure and stick the BvS sculpt on it, and have it still be my BvS representation.

Really doesnt look like there are much differences. If were going by WW and Flash suits, I doubt there is any.

The only one that changed is Batman because of how WB f-ed their relationship with the original suit maker.

I assume though it's basically the same suit it will have been made to look quite a bit lighter in post production. Otherwise the radical change in the HT colour wouldn't make much sense.

I hope it looks like the HT figure anyway. To me that is the perfect combination of the classic colours and a modern suit.

They're clearly just the prototypes that were shown previously - there's no chance this is the same Superman we'll get, all they've done is lightened the blue as a resprentation or to show that it's not the same as BvS, the head is clearly the BvS as well as the suit barring the paint app - and all the others, even Aquaman and Wonder Woman are still prototypes. That blue looks nothing like the set photos from JL also, so I don't think it'll be like that at all, hasn't even got the new armoured editions to the suit.

The blue is too striking for me, sticks out like a sore thumb, not in a good way. Glad it won't be like this, no idea why Hot Toys even did this.

I'm not sure why people are fretting that this figure will recycle the BvS sculpt. Didn't we learn anything from last year's fiasco with the BvS figure having the MoS sculpt as a placeholder?

I'd have to disagree about the blue. I'm all for modernizing the suit and getting rid of the underwear but Supermans colours should always be striking. This is a big improvement over the dull blue from MoS and BvS.

Set pictures mean nothing, it's how it looks on screen after post production alterations that count. Otherwise they'd release a Cyborg figure in his pyjamas. The colours has really been dialed up in the last few trailers. It's a fair bet Superman's suit will be a fair bit brighter than previous movies.

Lighting in film can be altered to change the color of a suit; how it looks under normal lighting is the true color of it and always stays constant.

That's why I like the suit of this figure because it looks more accurate to the actual color of the suit, even in BvS.

Lazy is not producing a long hair sculpt for Hela. Lazy is repainting heads again and again for every Cap figure since Winter Soldier. I'm not the only one that thinks this. Watch next year they'll repaint the Vol 2 Star Lord and Doctor Strange and churn them out under the Infinity War banner.

I'll give you that.

Yeah, because Chris Evans looks different right? Again, the f-ck?

I'm not the only one that thinks this.

Yeah, and multiple people voted for Trump. Does it make it right?

If its the same costume, I dont see why it would be different. However, they can do the same thing with Vision considering he didnt change post AoU (no re-release either).

Again, think about it before posting.

Agree with all of those points, except #3 because that one is subjective and depends on who you ask. Not a very good comparison.

If a sculpt is already good, such as the unmasked CA sculpt, I'm not sure why people would expect HT to keep fabricating a new one. It's not like the actor or actress has drastic changes to their facial structure in a matter of a few years.

Lazy and cost effective are two different things. Producing a second head for Hela, a one and done character, would cost more and there would be little benefit. It's not like the sculpt would get used again however... For a character like Cap, make a solid sculpt and reuse it. It's not like his appearance really changes much movie to movie. Those resources get allocated elsewhere. HT are expensive enough, and that extra cost would get passed on to is consumers.

I was actually considering this point as well regarding Hela as I was making my post. Good counter point.
