And here he is.... yeah the normal head looks the same, which is disappointing, the suit is a nice blue. The laser head is nice... not much more to say honestly lol

Except he seriously looks more evil than in any of the movie scenes

Yeah the hair is still going in the wrong direction. The teeth expression also looks a bit extreme. A think just a furrowed brow would have worked better. They also didn't even bother doing a new sculpt for the normal one.

Im good with it. It's going to replace my BvS Superman anyway(I got that brown strip over the glyph on mine hopefully it's fixed on this version) just like Im just going to buy Wonder Woman's head to replace my BvS one. Im not buying a complete Hot Toys Justice League until we get Green Lantern

Hmm. I'm def gonna get him cuz I missed the last one, but I'm not as impressed with the head sculpt as I thought I would be. I was truly hoping for a more hopeful expression. Instead, we get a rehash. The heat vision looks pretty good, but forgive me for saying, Ilthe 3rd party sculpt may look better to me.. I don't have it on hand and am just going off pics, but aside from the grin, the eyes on the 3rd party looks more detailed. I guess we'll just have to see better photos from HT to compare. But I still am pretty excited for this and ready to pre order immediately. I just pray that they don't release an "exclusive" version next month with a different expression.

I doubt it in this case since the heat vision head is using the same hair too. I don’t see them redoing both personally, but one never knows

exactly my thoughts, if they were going to sculpt new regular head , why they sculpted wrong haired heat vision sculpt? makes no sense. seems there will not be hairstyle changes. still like Prime 1 most but for sure its out of my wallet. I'm ok with my BvS one now.

They'll surely fix the hair and tweak the sculpt, if not then it's a real slap in the face to collectors. I'll still get this purely for the more vibrant colours and sell my BvS version but not very impressed so far. The detailing on the suit doesn't look as good as the prime 1, looks more a simple repaint.

Is there a release estimate on this? Given how little they've put into it, they could release it next month.

Like I said, I'm still getting it. Just think the con prototype looks alot better to me.. anyone agree or am I alone?

Just read on the hot toy site that the non heat vision sculpt is just a repaint.. everything else is completely redesigned.. why in the F would they just repaint the BvS head? The whole point of this version of supes is to get a DIFFERENT superman. Ugh

So this JL supes has a LED light-up head sculpt and that normal head sculpt is just a free gift, I guess. lol
I still hope they can use the same cape from the first prototype.


Nothing is certain till they release the final product.
