I want the sculpt, but that paint app really turns me off of it.

Ditto. I need to see a better paint job than that to consider replacing what is to me a very respectable likeness with excellent paint with the HT stock sculpt. I don’t love the shape enough to pay to have it repainted either. If OSK eventually improves the paint job then yes.

The Kit sculpt arrived and looks great.

Actually, I think the skin paint apps may have a little more color variation in places, such as around the cheeks, nose bridge and forehead. The eyes appear to be painted a tiny bit larger and more blue, than my first sculpt.

Mine also has a strong blush which I like,gives more alive feel. As I see on that pic eyeballs are definitely bigger than the previous one. Kit said second wave might vary , probably painted by other team or something. Still looks good tho. I don't care what ppl say but this is a best 1/6 Cavill sculpt I have or seen.

aren't they all mate ,

as far as i understand this is a recast and resize of prime ones figures head sculpt

its in hand ready to ship not pre ordered for third quarter and is £20 delivered ,and as many were unhappy with the paint, i thought a cheaper alternative could be preferable for some who intended to repaint them

bought two and they have already left china for the uk so won't or shouldn't have the problems with delayed delivery some were reporting ,so thought it worth mentioning as some may be interested in it

I mean it is a bootleg of Kit's release and paint job is downgraded, you can see actual product pictures on some listings and there is a drastic difference, but I might pick up few of these as well not too bad.

Pretty much expected that. Lol! I think I'll never be able to justify it to myself having customized headsculpt no matter how good it is. I'll just be the pleb hoping for a really good mass produced one down the line (highly unlikely).

Last quote (about a month ago) I got from 357partment was $300 with shipping to the U.S. They ain’t cheap!
