That's true. Perception is everything. The accusation is page one news and everyone will jump all over it. If the charges prove to be false, then it won't get near the same attention; and the person's reputation is pretty much ruined. That is the power of media these days.

:exactly:

Multiple allegations and having worked with him Gal may very well know how creepy the guy is. I doubt he will ever face a court but if he has rep in the business for such behaviour why should those actresses have to work with him and be put at risk? To presume they are all liars is frankly ridiculous. Spacey hasn't been found guilty of anything yet, should he still be employed?

A court of law requires a far higher burden of proof, rightly so, than either a civil court or a workplace tribunal. Again, in just about any regular job he would be suspended pending enquiry so what Gal is asking for is perfectly reasonable.

Hollywood needs a serious cleanup to make it a safe environment for all. Having a president that thinks its okay to grab women by the p***y doesn't set the best example sadly.

In a court of law, sure. But in the real world when you have a bunch of different women coming forward with the same accusation, common sense says there is something real happening there. The idea that every single one of them is lying and only out to destroy his career seems not only farfetched but kind of insulting I think.

Indeed. That is the point everyone keeps missing. It isn't a court of law. No one is trying to throw the guy in jail without trial(assuming there ever is one), merely protect other employees while the accusations are investigated. Same with Weinstein, Spacey and the rest of them.

To presume they aren't lying and that all it takes is to accuse someone of something and that it means they're probably guilty just because there's multiple allegations and just because they're women, is even more ridiculous. We either live in an equal free society, or we don't. If the employer of the accused decides to either suspend or terminate that person in light of those allegations, that's completely up to the employer. But you're essentially saying that well, since there's multiple women that accuse him of it, it's kind of insulting to presume they're ALL lying because at least one of them must be telling the truth.

Nor does having a Batman/Buttman that thinks it's ok and likes to grope random women's cabooses, by that logic. I wonder if Gal is going to condemn that and refuse to work with him.

I agree that Hollywood needs a serious cleanup because it's long been a cesspool of immorality and debauchery.

I think the president of a country should be held to slightly higher standards than a guy who plays Batman. The alternative having an equally creepy husband probably didn't help her cause. :lol

Gal is merely asking not to be associated with this guy until those accusations are properly investigated. That is surely reasonable.

You're either against the unwelcomed groping of women, or you aren't. One person shouldn't be held to higher standards than another, we all live in the same society with presumably the same morals and standards. A person doesn't get a pass just because of who they are or aren't.

I would agree it's not unreasonable, and is admirable. Therefore, I wonder if she condemns what Affleck actually did, and will refuse to work with him.

Maybe someone will ask her that very question.

From what I remember the accusations against Affleck were much less severe and one of them wasn't even real. The woman in question said herself it was a scripted video.

I fear we are going too far off course and should probably get back to discussing the WW figure. Apologies for my part in the thread diversion.

As Silverstar said, thats not how it works... Its about morals and doing the right thing, not social status. I actually dont believe you wrote what you wrote.. Its like backwards, middle ages mentality.

I'm personally selling my BvS and waiting for Wonder Woman 5. I hear that this version fixes the skirt issue and she comes with the God Killer sword as well as two headsculpts - one that doesn't quite look like her unless you look at it through a telescope 50 metres away in which case the likeness is pretty good, as well as one that sort of looks like her if you look at it 80 degrees from above no matter how far you are and if you spin fast enough in a clockwise-motion.

The deluxe version also comes with the boat that she sails to England with in the first Wonder Woman film.

Although I might wait for Wonder Woman 7 as this one comes with a deluxe invisible jet.

:rotfl damn that was thickly ladled on, I love it

It’s also funny coz I actually may end up doing just this.

I just handled one of the BvS WW for the first time over the weekend at a friends. Man it’s scary as hell moving the arms around, especially at the shoulder joint. I don’t know if it was a production variation or they’re all like that; but there was so much resistance and you could actually hear the friction while moving it around. Furthermore just moving the arms up and forward left a little crease on the side of her chest and I am super kid gloves with these things. The legs and elbows were fine however. To compare, I have the HT Gamora myself and I’ve never felt scared articulating her even with the well documented problems.

Maybe ‘WW3: The Quest for Peace’ with an improved body may be the way to go. That invisible jet doesn’t sound too bad either, it would have a ton of shelf presence.

The arms at the shoulder joints on my BvS WW are like that also. You have to apply a lot of force to move them either forward or backward.

For people with the BvS, its JUST the head sculpt that ruins it. If it were me that owned it, I would just sell the head sculpt now, while it still has high resale value and just pickup a parted out JL head when it comes out.

Thats just me though lol.

That's what I was going to do. I really don't see what they can do to improve the body much. I still think this one will suffer from the limited articulation due to the potential creasing.

However, I think I'm going to end up POing this one and just making it my solo, general WW representation by putting the God killer sword and shield from the TA version in her hands and displaying her next to the TA version (who will have the bow). So I'll just leave the BvS version as is and that will stay with my BvS Trinity.

Those are probably the only WWs I'll have for awhile, potentially for good.

It's too bad Sideshow doesn't accept Amex anymore. Hopefully BBTS has any deluxe edition and I can get it from them

Sell the head sculpt now and have a decapitated Wonder Woman for the next year? :lol It's not the best sculpt but it's fine as a placeholder

It's weird though, sometimes you see it from a certain angle and it looks almost dead on Gadot then you move slightly and it looks mediocre again. I can't wait to get the training armour version in hand, sculpt on that one looks a big improvement and we get sculpted hair.

I don't think the BvS sculpt is horrendous. It's definitely not the best portrait, but I can see enough Gal in it. This one is indeed better though.
