I think the HS is definitely an improvement. But the rooted hairs still can't convince me. And from many angles the likeness is still off.
With so many awesome figures coming the next few months, I cancelled this one. Maybe WW84 will be better. I can wait

Her head is too wide and her jaw is too big. The BvS figure is the better likeness in my opinion.

I think she's much better than the BvS one for sure, but I think they'll get it down for WW84 properly.

But also, does her head seem too high on her neck here? I can't remember the BvS having a giraffes neck.

And also, my God, those blogger photos really are awful for the most part.

Looking at these in hand shots ..there is no doubt IMO that this is the TA sculpt ( having owned TA version ) with just rooted hair..



In which the hair just needs to be styled and positioned right which is a relief to know



The TA doesn’t photograph well either, but is phenomenal in person. Don’t cancel your preorders

I'm really excited for this one. I agree the hair looks to need some futzing out of the box. But other than that, I'm pleased I waited for this version.

I agree the hair isn't helping (and somehow the rooted hair on the BVS looked a lot better), but there's still something off with the sculpt. Gadot has a pretty soft and round looking face and this is just far too square and angular. Not too mention that it looks a bit too small on the body.

No way I'm cancelling - the BvS in hand was phenomenal to be honest, as much as it could be better. No doubt this will be the same.

The nose looks pretty big from the side but I'm not gonna cancel or anything. I want a WW figure; if I don't love it I'll sell it for WW84 when the time comes.

I’m actually loving this. The reaction on the Hot Toys instagram page is not good though unfortunately. But aside from the nose being a little big from the side it looks very much like Gal. And I like to style the hair so that won’t be a problem for me. I’m glad I didn’t cancel and I hope it starts shipping soon! I don’t want to wait another 2 years for WW84 to own a WW figure.

They definitely changed the paint apps on the lips. It looks fuller than the training armor sculpt.

Agreed, I feel it's the only thing holding the figure back. We know how good the sculpt is from looking at the training version but stick this doll hair on and it loses a lot.

Please HT sculpt her hair for the WW84 figure.

You realize that you will lose all head articulation with sculpted hair, right? The head will be basically stuck however the sculpted hair drapes.

All this figure needs is a little hairstyling. Those pictures in hand look 95% Gal if not more. Those blogger pictures on FB used such terrible lighting imo

These recent final product photos do look better than any previous photo I’ve seen. I’m certain in hand it’ll look awesome. It’s undoubtedly the TA sculpt with rooted hair, as expected.

Honestly I'd take that for the hair to look decent. Her head has little articulation anyway.
