True, but SS will send out early arrival notices, which come before the HK release. And the release window is July-August according to Sideshow. It hasn’t even released in HK yet.

I still think SS must have sent that notification out by mistake and got it mixed up with the Training Armour version somehow.

Yet, on every photo seen so far, one looks like Gal Gadot and the other one not so much.
I passed on the BVS WW because of the poor likeness, I'll wait for in hand pictures of course but I may end up cancelling this one as well.
HT figures are really a hit or miss kinda thing.
In the past few years they have greatly increased their production (as well as their prices) but not necessarily the quality.
We get less for more and it looks like too much stuff gets approved too easily.
I'm slowly but surely phasing out of this hobby.
Was at SDCC and they are the exact same sculpt. Lighting in the San Diego convention center isn't the best (harsh overhead lighting on the ceiling) and it's the only light source as there are no covers on top of the display cases.
Interesting. I was at SDCC and could have sworn that the JL was different than the TA WW. And actually that the JL was a different headsculpt then the one from SDCC 17. (The TA & JL both looked the same at SDCC 17, just with rooted hair of course) As soon as I walked up to the glass I instantly thought, "Are those 2 sculpts different?" Then I kept looking at the two from different angles.
And not trying to argue with anyone here, I could be wrong. But I've got 20/20 and spent 5 mins looking at the two sculpts from multiple angles, and they looked different to me. Nose was larger looking on JL. I could have sworn it was the same headsculpt from the original WW. I was thinking that maybe it was a display error?
So, I'm very curious now to see how this sculpt looks when the figure is released.
You mean they displayed her with the headsculpt from the BvS Wonder Woman?
That's what it looked like to me. I'm hoping it was just an error. I ended up selling my BvS WW because I preferred the JL WW at SDCC 17. I was not thrilled with the JL WW this year at SDCC. Made me want to reconsider and get the TA instead. Again, that's what my eyes saw and I checked the 2 figs out for awhile.

BvS WW didn't have any hint of a furrowed brow like the TA. This JL did, if you looked close enough. I didn't look at the figures for 5 min straight since I would have certainly pissed someone off in the crowd, but did look at it different times. I wish I would have taken photos of it at the exact same angles so I could photoshop them on top of each other to end this silly debate.
It's the same sculpt.
I guess we’re at that stage where panic sets in shortly before the release of the figure, that it might not look as advertised, so people start second guessing on whether to go through with it or not.
Guaranteed when it releases in HK people will all be maligning the sculpt, then once it starts reaching collectors’ hands, stating how great it looks in hand.
It’ll be fine.
Wonder Woman was the only good thing that came out of DCEU. Not surprised.
