Hot Toys leaks and rumours thread

There’s so many different versions of Palpatine/ Darth Sidious that they could go with that have minor outfit changes and with both hooded and unhooded looks. It’ll be interesting to see which ones Hot toys decides to do. I could seen them even doing a two pack like they did with Boba Fett. He would be a tough character to choose if you have a one version per character rule lol.

For ROTS, we need ROTS Vader, Chancellor Palpatine (with both clean and scarred swapouts) and also the ROTS Emperor Palpatine look – these are absolute must haves. Other clones or Jedi will be cherries on top.

ROTS Vader is like the worst version though. The solid armour piece is gonna be horrible in figure form, wont be able to move the arms at all.

It’s my personal favorite Vader costume design haha, he’s awesome looking. I care more about aesthetics than insane posing so not a problem for me, personally.

Kit told me that he's had the Range Trooper on order for two months, which means this was a well kept secret. I don't know of any Youtubers who had this inside information, which begs the question how reliable the supposed 'insiders' really are.

According to BigBreda's current live video, last week Hot Toys apparently sent photos of three figures to the distributors in China and asked them what their estimated pre-order numbers would be for them.

The figures were:

Range Trooper
Purge Trooper (with beehive helmet)
Purple Spider-Man

However, the confirmation he was actually going to release still bypassed Man of Hot Collectibles' 'insider'.

So yeah, bigbreada has links. The others have yet to prove themselves but there is possibility they have info. Big breadas obviously was retail side, maybe the others have someone internal. Or they are full of crap. Either way we won't get confirmation for a while.

Assume that at least Widow and Thor would be Artisan offerings for the Avengers 2.0. I don't need an updated Mark 7 and they just did Cap 2012 with the Endgame line, but the other four could sure use a bump!

i'd prefer a roadworn thor 2.0 artisan than avengers. his outfit in the film was lame
