Yeah, I'm starting to think this isn't happening, at least not in the immediate future. Too bad, but the fact that they're doing SOMETHING with the license gives me some hope it'll happen eventually, at least... :(

Im really worried they won't do any figures. Theres gotta be some kinda hold up, or something. I mean why would they show a Sentinel first? What kinda company gets The Matrix License and than makes a Sentinel FIRST?! If they had Neo they would've shown Neo. Thats the money maker. You don't introduce a new franchise with a nameless drone enemy. They didn't start the Wolverine line Sabertooth  Something is gong on:sick

maybe there saving the figures for the big show at SDCC

I do too. You can see that Hot Toys would love to make figures from the Famous Type figure they did.

Exactly. It also makes little sense they would acquire the licence and not make MMS figures from it.

Licenses are typically very specific, and don't grant the licensee the freedom to make whatever it wishes. This could be the same limited license for HT to produce vehicles from the Japanese DVD set. Of course it would be fantastic if 1/6 figs are in the works.

Oh yes, I understand that. Perhaps I could have worded it better. I mean I think it would be highly unlikely HT would pursue a licence that they can only produce vehicles from.

Imagine it would encompass figures.

Yeah, I wonder if they are holding back product for SDCC... or if this is it?

Kinda hoping they don't announce figures this week as it would kill my eBay listing :lol

Galactiboy, do you have any pics of Neo without his shades? Does he look like Keanu? Just curious :^)

I don't have one handy... but I'll try to remember to take one.

Basically you know its Keanu in context, but if the head was just sitting there you might scratch your head a bit and guess him or David Schwimmer :lol

My guess is that we'll see both Spiderman and Matrix figures soon at the con. I must have figures :google

:D

I don't think so, if we were going to, it'd be at the Sideshow booth and Sideshow's got pretty much every product posted already, no Spidey and just the Sentinel for Matrix.

How do you know? Have you seen pics already? I assumed Hot Toys had their own booth.
