It’s really awesome to see people like you kitting out this figure since that was my plan when first seeing the figure. I haven’t gone as far as the scarf and knee pads (although I did consider a set of pads) but my Concept Cap is ready for WAR! I definitely went for just arming him up with weapons but I do like everyone else’s take on this figure.

So far I’ve put the round shield on his back, put an unmasked CW Cap head on, he’s got a glock 26 on his belt on the left, a Kimber Gold Combat II in a right thigh holster, holding a big machine gun that I have no idea what the model is, a smoke grenade clipped to his shoulder straps and a combat knife strapped to his left boot. I’m pretty happy with the results and don’t plan to do much more except maybe swap the machine gun with Bucky’s from CW/IW.

I’m actually torn between this and (believe it or not) IW Cap MP. It would probably be easy for me to put CA Cap at my personal #1 if that glaive didn’t turn out looking so great with him posed holding it. The CA Cap has been a ton of fun for me as well since he looks to be the most “realistic” super soldier especially when kitted up with 2 handguns in holsters on each leg, the circular shield mounted on his back, the CW unhelmeted headsculpt (which is what should have been the default head), a knife strapped to his boot, a smoke grenade hanging off his harness and holding Bucky’s big *** gun from CW/IW. I’ve posted pictures already in this thread but I’m a terrible photographer.

Anyways, CA Cap is a great figure and with basically 2 new Caps that just jumped up to tie for 1st place in my lineup, I just love them both. Obviously being able to kit him out has been a bunch of fun and I’d go with even more weapons if I found any more that made sense. Like there’s no way I’d have him with swords or laser guns, but conventional weapons on this figure just look perfect!

I was in the same boat. I actually already Preordered IW Cap, and as I mentioned, in the beginning, CA Cap was an easy pass.
But one thing that really bothers me with all the Caps, and I have owned, I believe all of them at some point...is that they havent captured Evans physique until CA Cap.
All of them looks like he's wearing a football outfit...too bulky, including IW Cap.
Not saying they dont look great, they're all awesome. But when I watch the movies, and look at the figures, its a huge nitpick for me.
The physique on CA Cap is a huge huge improvement.

Now I do still have a modded Golden age, and CW cap, and if I didnt have any of those, I probably would have passed on CA Cap and still get IW Cap.
I think if I didnt have any Cap at all, I would buy the IW Cap, and get a loose helmeted head.
Cause I do admit, as cool as CA Cap is, he's great as a having an optional Cap figure. Cause if you can only have one Cap, he has to have the red, white, and blue.
Just like Superman looking cool in black outfit, but still, if you can only have one superman, you would want a blue and red superman.

I sometimes still get tempted to re-order the IW Cap, I do think its cool. But since I already have CW Cap, I am gonna wait cause the leaked photos of IW 2 Cap looks amazing.
