I could be wrong about this, but honestly, judging by how well HT handled the intricacies of Snake's suit (very apparent when viewing the detail photos from some of these photo bloggers) I'd be surprised if her suit didn't zip up. I think a large part of them not showing it is wanting to show off the snake scar.
I think that as well, I mean it does have the teeth on it for a zipper right?

It just seems odd, they showcased the scar in about a dozen pics but not one of those had it zipped up, it gives the feeling like they're hiding it's function.
I mean 95% of the game it's zipped up the straps wrapped across... and not have that function?
I doubt that they would exclude simple functionality like that but your suspicions are valid.

I'm not liking the figure nor the face. I'm still getting it, no doubt. But this one is based on his appearance on the 3ds and CG MGS HD art. That's incredibly puzzling, because that look is not his PS2 appearance. If you've only played the 3ds game that's fine, but most fans remember him as he looked on the PS2.
Come to think of it, HT should have just plastered "3DS" somewhere on the box.
It's not made of rubber if I remember correctly.
i actually think they will rip at the pits and crotch. the suit looks like it doesnt stretch. maybe the threads in the seams will pull apart. im hoping not tho. any of his poses look like the suit is taught IMO.

Actually it looks quite stretchy to me.
never once looked at ebay for the parts and actually looked at the suit completely removed. the whole middle looks like spandex. i feel better now. the boss's suit however is leather mostly the whole way. snakes had the abdomen armor over it.

far from being the ultimate big boss figure.
The suit is actually very slack around the joints from what I can see in the promo pic. It definitely doesn't seem as form fitting as the in-game suit. So the figure should be able to articulate well. The thick amount of suit rubber on the shoulders do have me concerned though, and I haven't seen a single pic of this figure with its arms stretched to the front.
