As much as it sucks, it's how HT works and I don't see it ever changing, they simply never make a 2 in 1 set that has ever part to make both figures, you can make one or the other without buying extra bits, that's it.

Superman - 1 body for 2 heads and outfits
Two-Face - 1 body, 1 pair of pants, 1 shirt for 2 portraits
Marucs Wright - 1 body, 1 pair of paints, 1 shirt for 2 portraits
DX Joker - 1 body for two complete individual figures

The Joker was a real kick in the balls for collectors, all they needed to do was throw in a second body for a special, deluxe figure to make both of them and they didn't.

I guess I'm just used to the games, which is why I bought a second MMS117 T-800, in antipation that such a game will happen with T-800 where you'll get the Cyberdyne weapons, but you'll not get another clean portrait and outfit for the Cyberdyne scene.

Yeah it's Hot Toy's style unfortunately. The other example I can think of is the Resident Evil 5 STARS Chris figure, it came with a shirt that should have been included with the original, BSAA version of the figure.

I mean, i've just ordered Final Battle John Connor so i'm now on the hunt for the correct rifle! You never know if they are genuine mistakes though and that they are lucky enough a 2nd version of that character is coming out which they can include the accessory with.

Some are genuine mistakes I think, but still in a way Hot Toys' fault. Wrong or missing accessories I blame on the fact that they try to have figures out right as the movie hits theaters, so they go off of publicity photos from the studio as reference, but, those photos might not show everything or show weapons used with different costumes, stuff like that. To truly do a proper, authentic figure, you need to see the movie to know the context of the figure and what weapons and such really suit that costume and all.

That's why with the T2 line, they have no excuses, and lack of inclusion of an item is simply them dropping the ball big time or playing marketing games. Not originally planning to include the black t-shirt with this figure was a huge flop on their part, which they rightly corrected, but there was no excuse for them to not know that's what he had on in the mall scene, which the accessories of the figure are geared towards, and then throw in the grey for the Endo arm reveal.

The new Exclusive version of DX 04 Bruce Lee breaks that trend. The exclusive is the non-battle damaged body. So you get two full bodies and the 2 heads for the 2/3 outfits he has. So the exclusive version is indeed two full figures... finallly!

But I agree, they do drop the ball. With the T-1000 all we needed was a second police shirt and belts to have two full outfits for the T-1000. :slap

True, but it's a limited exclusive, so there will still be numbers of screwed customers. When it becomes standard to be able to make two full figures out of one bought set, then I'll give them kudos, but I don't see it happening, because nuts like me will buy multiples to get all the parts they need.

Well I don't have the figure yet (I am getting it from Onesixthbruce), but I did get a headsculpt.
I have to say the likeness is amazing. It's right up there with Arnie's

Anybody recomend a good cheap camera, because this one sucks

I thought the likeness was good from the start, but when I got the donut head, I knew the fully clean sculpt would rock.

Check out Play.com they have plenty on there and people review most of them.

Wow that HS looks great!!

When I first saw the promo pics they looked a little off but that in hand HS looks amazing!

I can't wait for this baby, but it's really sucks that they do not include a second belt and shirt for the figure. Oh by the way, the likeness looks great on that photo.

I personally think this is the best deal around for a camera that has great quality, DSLR like controls and as a bonus a real nice Macro mode Panasonic DMC-LX3 for $350 The new model is around $500 and just came out hence there is a good chance to find this possibly even on clearance somewhere
:borg:

Unboxed all my recent acquisitions today.

This figure is perfect. I can't wait to get my other ones from sideshow. There is one negative gripe I have with this figure though, the belts. They're so hard to get through the loops and it's IMPOSSIBLE for him two wear the utility belt and pants belt at the same time. I really wish I just left it alone. This is the first time where futzing has gotten me into trouble. I frayed the pants belt because the loops were too small and I had to force it through. Then the utility belt buckle popped off when I tried to put it back on. The directions state that that is how it assembles but it wouldn't stay attached to the hinges. I also noticed some of the stitching and hemming isn't as good as it could be with stray pieces of thread here and there. But what are you going to do?

As you can see, because of this belt I just left him as "Steel Mill" T-1000. The only thing I'd be worried about with this figure is wear and tear. There's way too much stuff to keep pulling apart on and then off again because I mean it's so easy to do with a figure like this. Other than that, he's great. The hands don't bother me at all and the spike finger is actually REALLY sharp. I thought it was going to be flimsy (used to the NECA one) but it is hard plastic. The bullet wounds are GREAT. Other than the head do I dare say they may be the best part? It's fun just sticking him with them and pretending he's getting shot. They come off as easily and quickly as they go on.

Fantastic figure overall. Better than the T-800 and maybe one of the best Hot Toys figures I've bought in awhile.

I'll have more pics tomorrow with some flattering light.

Well, at least I finally got Jabba so I only envy you for the T-1000 :lol

Yep, JUST found Jabba last night. I don't know if this has happened to you guys but some days I just get flooded with items I've been waiting for. I barely got any sleep between the T-1000, Jabba and the AT-AT.

Oh, not sure if this was mentioned but the T-1000 helmet is a 2 piece. I was a bit surprised myself. It breaks in half and you fit the bottom part over the head then the top part. If you guys would like pics of the instructions sheet just ask.

I want that AT AT but I have no where to display it. :monkey2

It's so big... but so awesome.

T 1000 is cool too

I've had that, but fortunately, lately, I get about a month in between things so I can thoroughly enjoy them before something else steels my primary attention. Last time I had a lot at once was last summer with Sideshow Vader, HT Predator and Dutch all in a couple weeks, at least Dutch and Predator go together so I could enjoy them at the same time.
