I did the math, if you're going for the same 4 looks I am, you can get the parts you need with 3 figure buys plus getting an extra patrol shirt and white t-shirt, though you might even be able to find away around that, and a 4th body, if you don't have one already. Might not need to buy 4 figures for 4 looks. There'll be plenty of spare parts to sell off with 3 too.

Yeah I think its the same 4 looks :Cop, Biker, Pescadero w/split, Steel Mill w/ donut. Plus that would give me the extra clean head to swap over to Pescadero and/or Steel Mill.

I do have an extra T-1000 body on order and will get the shirts and belt as well. But still, if I can get this for around $150 instead of $165 each, thats $45 I'd save total, which would cover the extra bits for that 4th figure.

Did you get a UPS notice or just an email saying it's shipped? Because last few orders with them, I get a shipped email from them, but it hasn't really shipped, it's not shipped until you get the UPS tracking email from them. Not sure why they do this, maybe things get hectic so they pre-ship in their system so once the boxes come in they can just get right to shipping off and not lose time. No big deal, other than it can be confusing and make you think it shipped when it didn't yet.

I got the email from Toys2 and then soon after the email from UPS with a tracking number. So far it shows departure from Ontario, CA.

Well, with the THE TERMINATOR announcement, I'm now rethinking the multi-T-1000 scenario, might trim down to 2, I don't want T-1000 as the dominant character in my T2 collection, but I fear moving onto THE TERMINATOR means T2 is over and no BD figures :(

Dude, don´t say something like that.
Horrible thought...

I just got off work, going to stay up half the day and go pick this guy up from Toys2, need to have it now..not waiting..____ sleep.

I'm keeping my 3 T-1000 orders but I certainly would be less likely to buy any more than that - as was occasionally, fleetingly entering my head to do - now that Hot Toys have seemingly moved on to T1.

Its frustrating, I still feel like we can't completely rule out a BD T2, and yet the T1 figure at the very least pushes back any confirmation of whether or not BD T2 will happen (and of course what he would consist of if he did). That is unless Hot Toys reacts to all this paranoia about their T2 line being done and moves to assure us that more T2 goodness will come.

The problem is a BD-T800 is pretty much all that's left, why move onto another movie with only one figure left to do in the current one. I'm getting painfully used to HT failing to complete lines, but no second T-800 makes little sense as he'd be a huge seller unlike peg warming Sarah T-1000.

I'm still for having the 4 T-1000 looks, but not with only 2 T-800s, I'll just do 2 figures and trade out looks, that way the HT lineup will be 2 of all 3 characters.

There's really no consistency with Hot Toys. I don't see how the current 1984 T-800 could spell doom for the T2 Battle Damaged and/or Cyberdyne figures.

1.) Two different lines.

2.) Did they not confirm a battle damage T-800? I know I read it somewhere. I thought someone even said they saw a prototype.

3.) Judgment Day's 20th Anniversary.

4.) It's ____ing Arnold. We've seen a Terminator figure from back when Hot Toys couldn't use his likeness, a Dutch, Uncle Bob and now a new 1984 T-800. I doubt they stop there. Especially if the iconic Police Shootout look isn't included with this new one.

I don't think the question should be "will we ever see a Battle Damage T-800?", instead "when is it coming out?".

Oh yeah, I forgot about that - that was just recently, someone (Wookster?) said they knew someone who had seen the BD figure with the exposed endo-eye and how there were things that could be improved. Now unless that person was talking about the surgery head from the T1 T-800....

Silent surfer said he saw pics of a prototype, but so what, I bet HT's had plenty of protos that never came to be.

I'm not saying BD T-800 will never happen, just seems less likely looking at what we know and HT's history, it's not favorable. Until we get a teaser or mag scan, I'm not counting on any he saw, he read stuff.

Might I point out, that we technically already have the T1 Police Shootout version = MMS02 BD T-800.

The plot thickens! :gah: :slap

Oh well, nothing a petition/poll can't solve ammirite? Who's with me? :lol

I'm really not worried about the battle damaged T-800. It's only logical that it will happen one of these days. If the worst case scenario is we don't see one, EVER, then I have plenty of other figures to help tide me over such a "loss" between Hot Toys, NECA, and all these other characters and figures in general.

I think as these collectibles improve and we start seeing things we never expected before start popping up, we collectors start getting more and more demanding and maybe even a little greedy.

I think it's way too early to start getting bent out of shape. If it doesn't come out, it doesn't come out. If it does, I'm going to buy it. There are WAY too many releases of different movies and collectibles for me to be zeroing in on one.

Still trying to appreciate this T-1000 before I get caught up in 1984 Terminator madness.

Gah I'm still waiting for my shipping notice from Toys2:impatient:

I preordered late so I bet I get it later. :(

I think if we'd gotten the BD T-800 from T2 first, people would have complained "Enough T2 Arnold already we want T1!" So perhaps this is a method to spread out the T2 Arnolds. HT would seriously be stupid not to do BD figures. We know they can do them. Marcus Wright had a little bit and that was over a year ago. HT has improved by leaps and bounds since then. I doubt they'd have much of a problem doing a full BD Arnold.

But I do get what you are saying about multiple T-1000. My plan was always to buy just 2 to start with and then go from there seeing if I can snag a 3rd cheap later on.

The most logical answer would be now. Sure the anniversary is next year but why put out 4 figures this year and wait for the last one. I just can't figure any reason to not do it before moving onto T1 other than not doing it at all. At his point, the only hope is they were planning it to be basic and are using the T1 figure to keep things going while they expand on the BD set.

Poor T-1000. :(

We're getting caught up in T-800 hopefullness/goodness and people are already deciding that maybe they don't need what they originally planned on, IN IT'S OWN THREAD NO LESS.

Can't believe you guys are getting soft on me. Hopefully you will change your tunes about the T-1000 once you receive it and order 10 more!

Seriously though, I don't want an "odd" amount either. I'd hate to have more T-800s than T-1000s or vice versa. But I'm not about to leave the T-1000 at just one.

As I already posted in the other thread, dont there recently seem to be a release formula to the classic HT-lines?
Main character + supporting character + villain = line done.
So, T2 seems to be full as is = T-800 + Sarah Connor + T-1000 (T-1000 Sarah was just HT milking it).

Ofcourse this doesen't rule out the possibility of a DX ;)
