maul does not disappoint again, great sets of photos!

were you able to pose them both grabbing the shotgun before they smashed each other into the walls? always wanted to see how these figures looked in that pose thanks!

Nice Maul Fan, very well done. Where did you get that picture of Edward Furlong? A few weeks ago the idea came to me to print out a picture to give to the T-1000. When I looked online though all I could find were "John Connor" production/promotion pics with him "in character".

Maulfan those pics deserve their own thread, really they do. Epic in every sense. Hot Toys should be paying you, as I have no doubt photos like that will encourage more sales of their figures. Love the new presentation and as usual you've got every little subtlety of posing and lighting to match real shots right from the film. I've never seen these two figures look better. This concludes my a$$kissing. But seriously put those, and any more like them, in their own thread.

Member Johnny Utah was kind enough to share a boat load of Terminator images, some cool stuff I've never seen including a T-1000 prop photo featuring the Connor photo, I manipulated it in Photoshop to be the right shape and then roughed a 1/6 size for it and printed it out.

T-1000 sculpt looks spot on imo, not so much the T-800 though. His face looks kinda squashed.

T-800s face is kinda squashed. Its Yulli's one weakness on her Arnie sculpts IMO, the T1 figure looks to be the same. However I think Maulfans pics disguise this very well. Based on these pics he looks dead-on to me, just not quite so in other peoples "on the shelf" pics or in person. Thats where I just can't help but notice the squat face.

Yeah I agree. thats the only thing that stopped me from buying T2 T-800 because his face is too squashed in and wide. The T1 sculpt is a definite improvement though and looks alot more natural with less pronounced wrinkles on the face and chin. Also looks normal too because Arnie was a bit beefier in T1 than he was in T2 so Yulli can get away with his face being a little plumper. The T2 T-800 sculpt is still great though but the squat face puts me off. :(

Thanks man, I really appreciate this. I think I might have seen this before on the T2 Ultimate Edition DVD set from a few years ago, just couldn't remember. I know I spent some time on google trying to find it but kept coming up short. I was even thinking of zooming in on the scene in the film where you can kinda make it out, but the blurred image just didn't cut it.

That's perfect, I'm definitely printing that out on film after I touch it up.

hi guys, the shirt on my t1000 doesnt seem to have the hole in the left pocket for the pen to go in to... does anybody else s t1000 has the same problem? or is there somethin that i should be doin in order to get the pen to go in...

Yea i noticed that too, i went to put the pen in the left breast pocket and WTF?, i only attempted this once though..maybe you have to just stab it through the stitching.

A few pics i took, not great ones..love this figure set though. I think the T-800 paint application exceeds this figure just a little bit more in the realism department.

Mine had a hole in the breast pocket. It was really hard to get through because have how tight it was (I know, I know, that's what she said) but it's in there now.

Maybe Hot Toys is forgetting to put holes in some of them?

Its a pity. Everything is so perfect about it other than that one thing. Lengthen the face in the middle just the teeniest tad (and make the sunglasses bigger to match) and you've unquestionably got the definitive T2 Arnold sculpt with the paintjob considered aswell.

I don't see the squishyness to the sculpt at all, I know it concerns you a lot though a-dev, but I just can't see it!

Man, I hate to sound like a broken record but don't like that healing split head at all. It doesn't even bother me that it's not the full split head either, it just looks weird. The neck is strange and it doesn't resemble the regular and donut head at all except maybe in paint application.

It's just really weird, almost doll like. I'd sell mine but they've been ending for around 3-5 dollars on ebay. That wouldn't even be worth it. Crazy.

I really need a second duty belt but i cant find any. Do you guys know where i can find one other than ebay?

While it's not the exact T-1000 belt and not as nice, just look up 1/6 Police Belt on eBay and you can find some really cheap deals. THe ones you'll find are similar to the one that came with Sideshow's figure, but better made. It doesn't look as nice as HT's, but it's readily available and quite cheap if you're not that concerned, I think it would work better for hte biker as the jacket would help it look nicer than just the patrol uniform.

Just wait till Toy Anxiety gets their T1000. They said they would break more down then.
