I'm really happy with how the sunglasses came out, the reflective quality was questionable in the official images but it turned out fantastic.

I got my T-1000 today!

I've set him up as steel mill T-1000 with doughnut head, waging finger and a few large bullet holes (I used the extra ones from Sarah)

I've him facing off with my Sarah who is armed with the shotgun. I've posed her cocking the shotgun with one hand.

It's my favortie part in the movie where Sarah takes on the T-1000 and almost kills him single handily.

Great figure. I remeber looking at pictures of him when HT first realsed pictures. He looked kinda off. But the in hand piece looks fanstastic!

Sick pics Roy!

I don't have the doughnut head, but it looks amazing. You should pick up an extra police belt with radio, clips and gun. It will cost you less then $20 shipped.

What kind of case are you using for your display?

He doesnt need another police belt does he?
Voorhees, how many of these did you buy?
Also, are his hands big? If so, do you think they could be replaced by smaller true type hands?
Thanks.

And these pics make me so jealous LOL
I think im going to get mine between Friday-Monday :(
Not fair LOL

I guess not. I never realized the doughnut head scene he was not wearing his officers belt.

You've changed from detolfs Roy ?.
I'd be interested in seeing the whole set up now. :D

Actually the shelving is in my laundry room :lol This is what it looks like:

You know what would have been cool? Magnets/metal in the actual head. Imagine covering the Motorocycle Cop look in bullet wounds to recreate the tanker scene where the T-800 abandons the truck and fires hundreds of bullets into the T-1000.

They are on the large side but apparently they're no bigger than any other TT hands :dunno So its just the tight fitting outfit making them seem particularly big on this figure.

Yeah, I was thinking that the clothes may be adding to the effect of large hands...the shirts wrist area in particular of course.
Thanks.

That, and the forarms are actually a little smaller than a traditional narrow TT, probably to make the hook and knife arms work without being oversized.

That hands are tradtional size and look fine overall, it looks weird at the wrist because that's smaller and the shirt is so tight around the wrist that it doesn't hide that any.

Is T-1000s forehead supposed to be visible while wearing that helmet? It doesn't look right to me.

Its actually because of the angle I took the shots at, dead on you can't see any forehead.

I do need another belt when I build my 4th T-1000. The hands are fine, its the running hands that look long and its because of the finger extension. I bought 2 complete figures and 2 True Types.

Those detolfs are full of awesomeoness, and I have 90% of what's in them too :rock

Aside from Star Wars and maybe POTC we have very similar "Shake N' Bake" taste. :rock

I posed my biker jacket collar up, like it was in the movie, i think i like it that way better:dunno

Mines zipped up to his neck (until I get a spare t shirt) so lifting the collars would look funny imo.

Your Rambo's, give them to me...NOW!
I wish I got into this hobby earlier...so many great figures ive missed out on :(

Not really. Aside from the amazing Batman Begins and Rambo III you've entered at the right time. A little more expensive but damn is the detail legendary.

You know, I just thought of something. Does the T-1000 even have handcuffs in the movie? I don't think he does.
