Wouldn't you know it. I get my connector, and I go to place the head onto the post to make my 5th and final T-1000 figure. Well afterwards it didn't feel right, it wobbled like a loose tooth. Turns out that damn ring band in the neck was torn, now it doesn't go on at all.

Never noticed this when I first bought it so it had to have come that way. Anyone have a link to Hot Toys customer service? I've contacted them in the past but it's been a while and their entire site is ____ed up.

Thanks, I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Yeah I considered gluing it myself but I don't know if you noticed in the pic but the band is already starting to fall apart, like crumbling. I don't know if it's the glue they used or what.

Only T-1000 head like this, that I own anyway. Of course, it's the only one I ever took off the connector.

Can't you remove one from one of the split heads and then glue it to the regular head?

I just checked, the band isn't soft like the other ones. It's really dry and rough. The best way I can describe it is like old, dried up super sculptey or play-doh where it dries up and has white cracks through it.

I'm thinking of just taking off one of the split head bands (thanks toylion) considering I have extras and I'll probably never use that head.

Can't find any super glue at the moment. Anyone have suggestions on a good brand/type I should use? I don't want to end up discoloring or ruining the neck/connector.

I should also use this opportunity to finally glue the silver piece back onto my T-800s leather jacket.

You said it yourself and I'd agree you are indeed a tad fussy! :) I personally wouldn't care about discolouring the connector which will never be seen - just don't get any glue on the outside of his neck - but even that would probably be hidden under the clothes.

I should also use this opportunity to finally glue the silver piece back onto my T-800s leather jacket.

For the first time I lost one of those - then found it, put it where I thought I'd remember it was - and then forgot where I left it. So now I have one T-800 minus a silver button on his collar. I dunno, I don't particularly care but if it ever bothers me I'll take one from his back.

To those of you who brought a couple of T1000s and have lots of spare parts, will you be willing to part out the biker cop uniform set (helmet, boots, jacket, pants and glasses)? Thanks in advance.

I don't think anyone's going to give them to you for free, if that's what you're asking, and if you're willing pay, all those parts except for the glasses are at Toy Anxiety, linked below. It looks like they might've dropped the price on these parts recently, I remember them as being more expensive not too long ago.

Haha, no of course I wasn't expecting to get them for free. I am willing to pay for the parts. I have two T1000s, but I am looking forward to making a custom one with the biker outfit if I can get it for cheap. Thanks for the link thou.

Shin maybe we can make a trade? I'm still looking for the regular cop shirt, t-shirt and utility belt. I have most of the biker parts you're looking for.

Have a week off and some time on my hands, so I decided to play with my dollies. I have a couple of questions: SS's T-1000 has a slot in the shirt pocket for the pen. On HT's all I see is a hole in the shirt. Is this where the pen goes, or do I just have a hole in the shirt? Second, the flashlight doesn't really fit in the holder. Is this just mine, or is there a trick to getting in?
Thanks!

Hey Jack, yeah the hole is for the pen (fits really tight) and you just have to wiggle the flashlight through the tiny hole. LOL that sounded wrong. Hope this helps.

Try heating the ring up with a blow dryer or hot water first.

Thank you, sir! I wasn't sure about the hole. It looked like that's what it was for, but I didn't want to make the hole bigger if it wasn't. And the flashlight just requires some elbow grease, huh?:impatient:
