Even though I wasn't mislead by the title of this thread...I do think a cross forum sticky re titles shoud be setup... This title would have been fine if it said "Speculation: Hot Toys MMS -101 = Cyberdyne Systems Model 101?"

Well given its now confirmed he's appearing in T-4 via digital overlay..... its possible to produce his likeness under that licence. That said, I'd much prefer the iconic T1 biker look than a T-4 version.

They couldn't make a T4 Arnie figure anyway. I get the impression he spends his short time in this film naked. Pity they wouldn't cheat and put out a T4 head that we could use on our MMS T1 figure.

If HT did make one... it'd be cool if they had sculpts for the look in the pic above, then short spiky hair after he's been singed by flame, then of course the battle damaged eye and then after the truck has run over him and he looks really messed up. Only 4 head sculpts! Just casting my coin into this wishing well thread...

Any film without merchandising rights in the film license requires Arnold's likeness rights holding company to be involved and approve. FOX only had rights to give Hot Toys the Predator licenese, the back and forth was that they had to get Schwarzenegger's people to approve the sculpt. The Terminator falls under the same conditions, his people would have to approve. Terminator 2 is covered by the film license, so if they got rights to T2, they could do that regardless of his people, I assume same goes for T3 and surely Salvation knows enough to cover such things in it's contracts.

Okay, it was just speculation guys, and it made sense given that Arnold's likeness is in Salvation. Wishful thinking on my part and a sneaky way for HT to get us the Arnold we all want. I love these things as much as you do, so try not to flip out. :p

It would be funny if HT just sold him as a nude 101.
No clothes, no weapons, 'nuthin.
Appropriate if thats how he appears in T4

:lol Aint the social stigma attached to grown men collecting dolls bad enough that you want a nude Arnie with 1/6 nuts standing on your shelf?! EPIC pass for me:rolleyes:
