I don't think the sculpt is bad....would be better to see one painted and finished though.

Ok since I'm new to this I will ask the question.....On HT Facebook page when they posted these photos today they said "Hot Toys is proud to present the Agent Phil Coulson Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the smash hit The Avengers movie".

What do they mean by Limited Edition? Are there actually some HT figures where they say up front that they are only making 500 or 1,000 pieces?

I've only been at this for less than a year, but I don't ever recall them using that term on any new figure?

I think they have used it on a few figures. I recall iron monger having the limited edition suffix. They are never numbered. Only HT will know the edition size.
It's meant to make you panic and pre order right away.

If you go on the actual Hot Toys website, they have used that term on quite a few of the new releases so far. They have used the "Limited Edition" term for along time now. Nothing new. This release will be like any other release.

Now just hoping SSC will be keeping the price down to around there.
