But he stabbed him right in the heart?!
You can certainly think up all the excuses you want on how that idea can work but it's just the matter of fact that it's not such a creative one. If they go by it, then hey, what can you do but I just wish they actually sat down and thought of something more robust then "He faked his death. That movie scene was a lie. The End."
the movie scene was a lie...that was the point of it. everyone but fury knew and he used it as motivation to get the avengers to come back together as a team with a new focus.
Maria Hill even brings up the fact there is no way fury could have gotten the cards off Coulson's body, that they where in his locker...then fury goes off on his motivation speech.
the pieces where already all there.
No, the point was he wasn't carrying the cards on him, they were in his locker, so Fury went and got them, dipped them in blood, and then used them to sway the Avengers. So it still doesn't tell us he was really dead or not.
Come on Marvel.. What a joke..
So Nick Fury was on his knee by his side when he died because he knew it was fake. It's funny because no one was there when he died besides them two. They could have come up with something better.
Him dying wasn't the lie, the cards were. This is just a lazy mock up excuse for the show.
That's why I quoted you..Thats what I just said.
That's why I quoted you..

Coulson sure is gonna be pissed about Fury messing up his cards.
But he stabbed him right in the heart?!
Also, I'm thinking, if you've been stabbed in the heart you're not able to both pick up and fire a giant alien gun and the still be alive when Fury got there.
If that's true, then it really is pretty lame that they couldn't come up with something more creative.
You can certainly think up all the excuses you want on how that idea can work but it's just the matter of fact that it's not such a creative one.
Sorry, it's just too lazy and predictable for my tastes. Surely, there is a middle ground between that and Zero Hour or whatever.
well I like this idea better than the whole show just being a prequel to Avengers.
Yeah.. oh wellIf they go by it, then hey, what can you do but I just wish they actually sat down and thought of something more robust then "He faked his death. That movie scene was a lie. The End."
But they still have to explain how Loki didn't kill him, unless Loki was in on it
