Well the first Cap figure was seriously flawed as a figure--putting aside the source material. If they could have improved on that here, I would assume it could do much better, sales-wise, but I don't know HT's logic. The fact that they've released nearly Cap variant you could ask for suggests they are selling pretty well, despite the fact that some--even exclusives--don't sell out very quickly.

I think he was saying the rumor is SS only got 300 or so, but you are correct that there are a lot more than 300 worldwide. I really hope they make a BD version of this, they have the HS and suit, so it would be very easy. Maybe a SDCC exclusive?

and if the did make a BD version would it come without a shield? he dropped it in the final fight.

A BD version would be nice, even if he didn't use anything else besides the shield they should add a few weapons, for nostalgia at least ...

that would be very nice of them!..it would be something like an dx version if that is the case

yeah you are probably right
if any dx do come up for marvel heros
it would be tony stark iron man!

unless captain america popularity soars beyond tony stark...doubtful!

wow..that would be an awesome idea!!!

and give us 2 head sclupt!!!!

ok just for speculation, if an DX is done for Captain america.

which suit would they use? and why?

probably the final cap 3 or avengers 3 suit whichever is last. becuase they would make just 1 version so that would be it.

The first one was actually good. The problem was it was a Half-A$$ release.
It reminded me a lot of Batman DX12 where it needed lots of mods to make the figure shine.

The helmet bugged me as it looked to plasticky, but with battle damage and gloss, it made a huge difference.
I believe I also stuffed mine cause he was on the skinny side.
Lots of weathering including the upper torso, glossed boots and gloves, repainted the lips and leather straps on the helmet, and huge mod on the shield with dull gloss and battle damage, etc.

But the thing that I love with the new HT Golden age is the size of the body. I think it looks more in proportion with Evans when wearing the suit. Also I love shoulder area looks more natural compared to the TFA.
So I'm extremely stoked I was able to pre-order it. :)

I was extremely disappointed when I received the figure from sideshow. The crooked A on the helmet and the lack of bulk on the figure. Way too skinny. I wound up sending it back for a refund. I'm really hoping the GA release is superior. It's looking good so far. I just hope the head sculpt is tweaked for a better likeness.

The GA looks like it would be great even when stock.
My main concern is still the helmet, I hope if doesn't look to plasticky like the
TFA, or else, I'm gonna have to mod it also.
But I really like the bulk on this figure.
As much as I love my modded one, Ive always been tempted to mod the body to a bigger true type.
Looks like ht fixed this issue...it looks like they gave the GA cap lots of sandwich. :)

I seriously hope we get Baron Zemo in Cap 3. I could only imagine what a MCU Zemo would look like and i'm sure a HT fig would be amazing.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Zemo would be an awesome addition to the movies and the shelves

Going to watch this again tomorrow :banana

That is a great display. It looks like something we would see at a show. Love the lighting and great job on your Cap!

Hi Remy. You're FA looks great. Would you mind sharing how you modded the helmet?(battle damage in particular) I've been tempted to try weathering some things but not sure about the technique. Is it using silvers or lighter colors dry brushed?

Also, just curious how you'd transplant him to a larger TT. Wouldn't the suit be too small for the advanced muscular body? Not to mention the head being too small? Not saying it can't be done, as I'd love to see it. Just wondering how you'd go about it. Thanks in advance.

The TFA comes with spare long foot pegs. IDK why they have him built on standard pegs but included the long ones as spares. They should've just used the long ones and that’s all :dunno
