No offense, but that relies on the idea that the toys actually aren't selling well and that Marvel is forcing retailers to order them anyway, which is just a way for you to try and make an anti-Marvel point without having to actually provide any evidence to back it up.
I have been working in the comic book industry for 32 years, I have worked with the 2 big ones and their parent studios.
I've tried to explain this before but you called it conspiracy theories, now it's "anti-Marvel points".
No one here is anti Marvel but there are a few things you seem to ignore.
Marvel has and does force(d) retailers to order stuff they do not want nor need in order to minimize the retail space left for their competitors and maximize profit.
"Do you want to get this bestselling item? You also need to order and display these 10 lesser items".
It's up to the retailer to compensate what he might lose with the lesser products by ordering enough of the best selling ones and/or convince his customers they need the *****ty items.
That's the price to pay to be in business with some companies.
This is not a conspiracy but an aggressive and common tactic used throughout the retail world.
If you don't believe me about Marvel just ask a comic book store owner who's been around since the 90's or early 2000's.
Everyone with a bit muscle does it, Marvel/Disney are just particularly aggressive.
Of course these guys are amateurs compared to other industries (food, tech, pharmaceutical etc...)
We do not live in a world where supply and demand are perfectly balanced in some Kumbaya harmony.
