I think we'll get Jango revealed this year sometime at least. Maybe not the next figure up but I'd bet over the next few months.

My thoughts on that are that they might be saving some of these characters to release so they can maybe get a year or two more out of the line. I mean really they have most of the bases for the Original Trilogy covered.

Do the three you mentioned as well as a 3PO. Throw in Han, Leia, and Vader from ROTJ and that basically covers most of the main characters.

Yeah I suspect they're just waiting until the Sequel Trilogy is out of the way first. Since they know those OT figures will be huge sellers and will help fill the gap between trilogies.

You really think they are going to make Solo Lando? I doubt it. Last dying chance would be the release of the Solo Han figure I would think. I'm not sure there is enough collector demand and the movie was a box office fail.

Not sure about Lando, but ESB Solo and Chewie are 100% on the table.

Maybe it’s because the upgrade from the SSC version isn’t that significant so people don’t long for it as much? ...but no matter what, the Cody sculpt really shows that there is something good coming. I didn’t know if I would upgrade, but with that sculpt I think I’ll have to.

I don’t know, weren’t people pretty unhappy with the Sideshow Jango? I didn’t follow that thread too closely and don’t own the figure but I feel like I remember there being a few comments about the quality being pretty disappointing.

Yeah the SSC Jango blows. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. Only SSC figure I’ve gotten after that was the new Maul.

I'm guessing this will come with the Cody sculpt but he'll probably have the headband on to set him more apart. I hope he'll get announced soon.

Let’s say we get 4 pre-orders up before SDCC 2019 (March, April, May and June), then I’ll take a wild guess at Airborne Trooper, Jango, OT C-3PO and Padme. Then some SDCC reveals, based off teases, like ESB Han, ESB Lando, Qui-Gon, Battle Droid and AOTC Anakin (not teased). It must be about time for some more OT troopers (ie Scout Trooper, TIE Fighter Pilot, Rebel Fleet Trooper).

I'd love a Hot Toys Scout Trooper. I have been looking into the SSC one, but I decided to wait for a possible HT version. It's my favorite stormtrooper design. I also hope we might get to see a HT General Grievous at SDCC this year.

I'm down for Jango, Padme, and Qui-Gon. But I really want to see Grievous, Windu, and Palpatine though.

Then now is the chance to start saving for when he comes out. Nothing has been announced or even teased yet. So before he'll actually be released we're talking maybe summer 2020 at the earliest and that's with an announcement before or around SDCC and an extremly rapid production pace.

So just a small amount each month from now on in a Grievous fund and your wallet might not cry so hard when the time comes.

I think this being the next release is a good bet. It was teased ages ago and it will sell. I have the ss, which still looks good. I may be tempted with the sculpt though...

Hopefully, as surely they won’t want to put it up too near to the Mandalorian release with the armour being a kind of similar. Or do Hot Toys really think like that?

High possibility of Hot Toys to release Jango Fett along with Mace Windu, to re-create the "decapitated battle scene" in Geonosis EpII. Before I was thinking they would do it with Sidious ROTS, but now Im leaning forward to the former scenario more, it just makes much more sense.

I guess magnetic neck for Jango, no ball joints for easy decapitating action when playing the figures.
