Sorry, I've been absent lately on the DC boards, was the GL line officially cancelled by HT?

Yeah, they apparently confirmed it in a recent online interview. Green Lantern officially got the axe. They still said one or two X:FC figures are coming though.

Thanks. Damn that sucks. I didn't like the movie but thought the costume designs were great. I was looking forward to getting Hal and Sinestro HT figures. Well, more cash in my pocket I guess.

Magneto (with his magento outfit and helmet (dark red))
Beast

Those are the only two I would get.
Hopefully they take on the char from the other X movies which are less generic.... Storm, Phoenix, Cyclops. etc.
Can you imagine a nice Cyclop in 1/6 HT details figure? WOW

If I only got one figure other than Magneto then for me it would have to make sense for that other character to be posed with him.

I wouldn't do *just* Magneto and Beast or Azazel no matter how cool they looked because to me it would look like an incomplete display.

Magneto raising his outstretched hand with Charles looking stressed next to him would definitely work and would come across as more of a finished scene IMO.

ASSUMING that their statement from a month or so ago regarding them making 2 figures, one with a wheelchair, is true, I would think they are going to make Magneto with Charles. I'd love to see many others, but don't think we will. I'll be satisfied with those. Maybe we'll get a few other character when XFC 2 comes out IF the 2 they release sell well.

I pretty much lost interest in a FC line of figures, apparently so has Hot Toys if they're only bothering with one or two figures. I'd prefer if they actually went back and simply gave us a more well rounded X1-X3 line of figures, but that is a pipe dream.

First one to two figures

The only time they've stated exactly how many they are doing before the first release is with Avengers

They'll put up one or two and then once they release get moving on the next one or two, it's X-Men! Not a recent, un-proven franchise without a following.

X-Men has had tons of adaptions and has tons of fans.

I personally would rather be thrilled if they make more than 2, but at least satisfied with getting only 2, then to continue hoping they will make a half dozen or so and be disappointed IF we only get 2. The fact that they are waiting at least a year after the movie to put these out TO ME is an indication that they aren't treating this like the Avengers.

I would actually be OK with getting just Magneto and Prof. X.

X-Men First Class – Project is still in progress and will come up soon. The first figure will be Professor X.

Gotta say unless both Magneto and Xavier go live at the same time they're not gonna win as much praise for choosing him first when Magneto is the big draw.

If Magneto isn't shown at the same time I'll pass on Charles. I won't order him unless Erik is for sure coming. HT has burned fans with a one and done mentality on figures and I don't want Professor X on my shelf without Magneto.

If X is cheap enough, I think I'd buy it, even if Mags isn't released. I like the flight suit, & I want a James McAvoy sculpt anyway. Depending on the quality of the head sculpt of course. I'm guessing there will be no more than 2 figures (if that) for this line though. Ah well. Better than getting Green Lantern'd.

I think the ship has sailed as far as getting any figures from this movie. It's no longer "hot" as far as Hot Toys are concerned, better chance when the sequel hits.

I'd like a Magneto but can't see it happening at the moment.

I read that and I hope I'm wrong! I just think it'll be a shame to get say one figure for now, just to keep the fans happy, and then no more. They've left it so long to reveal something.
