Could someone tell me when the Newsletter typically goes out? For some reason, it never shows up in my gmail until after midnight and I know it is posted before that. I just don't want to miss my chance at getting this. Better safe than sorry, right?

it varies but you can always log into the ssc website & access it there before it's sent to you. 7:00-8:00 ish pst?

Yep, and I think the newsletter goes live between 2pm and 3pm PST.

I wouldn't worry too much about securing Cap though. There has been no mention of an exclusive so he should be readily available on Sideshow's site as well as at retail locations for 10% less.

is it that early GB?...........i always thought it was a bit later. my newsletter always gets sent to my work email late at night & sometimes doesnt arrive until the next day early in the a.m. but that may be on my work's filtering end...........

yea, i don't think i've ever actually waited to get the newsletter delivered ever.............

back when it was a later time i remember signing in at the site & accessing the newsletter section & would keep hitting refresh to see if it had posted yet. but that was only when there was an urgent order on something or whatever.....

Okay, I agree with everyone here... THE FIGURE IS AMAZING.

HOWEVER... the shield is wrong. Sorry it must be said (and I'm not kidding).


It's too small.



In the poster you can see just how WIDE the shield is. It's easily wider than Chris Evan's shoulders.


THe HT is also too shiny. The actual shield is BRUSHED alluminum looking.


Aside from that... the shield itself is not the proper design... You can really see it in the following two images... the concentric rings on the actual shield are all the EXACT width... the HT shield has a smaller inner red ring. The star is not the correct ratio to teh width either.

As awesome as the figure is, I agree.
It wont keep me from getting it but I pray HT addresses it.
Then this masterpiece can take its rightful place as one of the best 1/6th scale figures eveeeeeeer.......

See this is why you can not announce a figure and show final product and ship it in one month. Mistakes are made They need us to tell them what to do!
