It's a helmet shrank, Assuming the sculpt underneath is the same (and it looks the same)
Seriously ? We're talking millimeters here. I feel sorry for some of the people on this site.

Yeah really. There are better things to put that kind of effort into. It looks the same to the naked eye, why isn't that enough?
Also, they stipulate that the actual product may differ slightly from the protoype. Is this news to anyone?

I agreed...it's sad but as sculpts have gotten better, the scrutiny just increases to the point where it's ridiculous. Ive said it before, it used to be that you'd buy a Han Solo figure that looked more like Bruce Jenner and you were happy with it...cuz it was a Han Solo figure! I'm all for the better quality sculpts out there nowadays, but seriously, sometimes all of this nit-picky, hyper-scrutiny takes the fun out of the hobby

I can understand a sculpt that's totally off like Indy, but this.....not saying it looks like Evans, but it never did and it's not far off from what we saw originally.
And it doesn't matter...it's not like the sculpt is now black or something
I couldn't care less about the sculpt (even though I kinda see Evans in certain shots), everything else is top notch on this figure.

I don't and I think Indy is some of the biggest trash HT has ever put out..and for that price tag?
No ! It's way too off for me. Looks like his stunt double. I've seen all the pics, videos, etc. Same with Alice. Was way too off for me. This Cap is off in likeness, but it has a mask so it doesn't bother me as much.
Agreed, big pass on both of those...you getting Supes though?

My point exactly...and I'm by no means an advocate of either side, but the general consensus has been that those who have Indy in hand think it's great. I have two collector friends who like you, talked major trash on the Indy sculpt until they came over to my place and saw it in person. They both immediately placed orders for it on my laptop. I'm just saying that I think the sculpt has gotten a bad rap cuz of early pics. And it's kind of difficult to criticize something you haven't seen in person. That being said, to each his own. Everyone has different tastes.

There's been so many clear pics and videos that I don't need to see it in hand to know it's off. All the figures and statues I have, look exactly the same in-hand as far as likeness goes.
I just got confirmation that mine is on a plane headed to NYC via EMS from Hong Kong. (It was a BIN Ebay auction). I should have it Wed or Thu this week. This looks incredible from the pics I've seen over the weekend. The sculpt looks good to me- but then I may not be as exacting as some other people on the board.
