You got it right verb! i love both outfits but i dont want to have two caps clogging my bill and shelf space, so Avengers it is for me :lol

The more I see his Avengers outfit the more I like it...still not sold on the cowl but I'm sure once I see the movie I'll like it.

I'm keeping my order in for TFA version & then see what the Avengers figure looks like.

If I like it more I'll sell TFA version & pick it up if not I'll just stick with what I have no biggie as TFA still looks awesome to me & just means I'll have more spare cash for an Avengers version of Thor & hopefully Hulk ;)

supes is SO plain for the price though and no version of jack sparrow can compare to any version of cap...end of story lol

:goodpost::exactly: pretty much sums it up right there. Yeah, that Depp sculpt might be one of the absolute best facial sculpts ever but I really have no interest in that character

It's not about how great the character is or isn't. The detail and work that went into (and required) for Jack Sparrow is far beyond Cap.

Too bad I don't really base my purchases on how much work goes into making it. If it took them 10 minutes to make this cap compared to 10 hours to make Sparrow, I'd still pick Cap 10 out of 10 times

Super Man does look good but its one of the most plain figures out right now and costs more than most. The only reason the figure is getting any attention is because of the character it is.

:exactly: We are not debating who your favorite character might be- the overall figure in costuming, sculpt, features and such. Sparrow instant winner there. No disrespect to Cap....

but how much does sparrow cost compared to Cap, one of the cheapest figures this year? If they were the same prices it would be a different story.

Cap ftw because this figure helped me rediscover the character. Supes, meh, plain figure with a great sculpt of the iconic incarnation. Would love to have it but I can hold off on him. Indy looks like a solid figure but I can't forgive that sculpt since I know what HT can do. JS, couldn't care less. I have a medi and for me thats as much as I am willing to invest in that character. I pick Cap for FOTY if he is as good as the photos seem to suggest.

I disagree. HT Superman is getting a lot of attention because of how great the sculpt is period.

Are you serious? All the fanboys were creaming their pants ever since it was announced, not having seen a sculpt...

Regardless, Cap is an amazing figure and probably has the best outfit ever made by hot toys...and is, I think (could be wrong), the second cheapest figure this year, only behind spider-man and tied with Thor...

If you compare bang for your buck then Cap is definitely at the top of the list IMO...

Fix the odd looking head and I'll re-preorder. Disappointed with the way the head sculpt came out.

It doesn't get more iconic than Reeve Superman, IMO. I kind of regret putting a deposit down on this Cap. The movie was okay and just felt like an obligatory stepping stone on the way to the Avenger's movie. Maybe I'll care more when it arrives.

It only looks odd in the bad pictures

How is it so iconic? because it was one of the first superhero films? Plus, thats going back to the character and not the figure...my argument was that the figure itself, character aside, is no where near comparable to the figure of Cap. Cap is way more intricate and detailed than Supes...he does have a nice base though :slap

The Supes figure looks awesome. I've got it on order and damn glad I do. The movie is still one that is a lot of fun to watch. If I had to pick just one I'd go with Cap though as I do think you get more for your money and the character/movie are one I think is better. As far as each figure getting attention they both should because both are must have IMO.

I'll be able to rate them all better once I have them in hand. I get Supes soon, Indy in Dec, Cap in Dec, and Jack in Jan.
