Seems like there will be no SSE because there were no PPO email. Or am I wrong? What time should we expect him to be up for PO at SS? Just want to make sure if they'll have an exclusive, in not I'm getting him at VP.

I'm just surprised seeing a figure before the movie comes out... not used to that.
If I'm not mistaken, Thor was first shown late last year when they announced 89 batman and joker. I believe there was a convention where they have Res Alice, HT Iron monger, and then Thor in a display case. I just got my Thor last week so that's pretty much 6 months til release so it wasnt exactly fast like some figures. I'm thinking this is gonna be Nov. Spiderman was supposed to be released June and now he's pulled out of the Hot Toys store shelf for tweaking.

The artist for The Ultimates is Bryan Hitch. They "borrowed" heavily from his designs.
You're missing out on a great figure. Forget the height issue and pick this one up.

I wasn't too concerned because I knew I would have a chance at the Avengers version. Hopefully HT makes some mods like SSC has w the Pro by then, making him taller and more muscular. Very impressive all around though.
I think the fact that the name plate has "hero costume" below Captain America is confirmation enough we will be getting a second Captain America figure from this line ...and we all know what that's going to be!

Maybe making him taller would be a tiny touch better but body wise they need to leave it alone. The way its done now really works great. I'm sure there will be an Avengers version with the minor costume tweaks they will make.
