Opened mine last night and the star seems slightly off but it looks more like the costume fit as it is centered on the seams pretty good. Got the longer foot pegs too! They were under the wrist pegs in a separate baggie.

Got all his joints moving...dayum that suit is sewed on tight!

Only real complaint is this has got to be THEE CHEAPEST holster released on any figure I've recieved from HTs, SSCs & Medicom!!!! What a piece of crap! I see why they have been falling apart on guys. Definitely have to reinforce the joints on it and probably switch the clasp to a piece of metal and a mini rare earth magnet.

I used a fingernail to hold the base of the plastic post down while opening the flap of the holster so it wouldn't rip out. Then I just stretched out the hole for the post out a little bit so it wasn't as tight and haven't had an issue with it.

Yeah, you really have to baby it 'cause one wrong move & that post will pop right out.

What would be a good replacement holster? I would rather just buy a better quality one and put the HT's one back in the box rather than forget down the line and tear it up. It's a bit of a bummer that HT's didn't come through on the quality for this accessory.

Might want to see if you can find something at Monkey Depot, as they specialize in military stuff, or toys2.net, they have a lot of the HT military accessories.

Could be dyed darker to match Cap's leather. At this price I went ahead and ordered one for myself just in case. Also ordered some other Allied WWII weapons to give Cap some variety in his artillery choices! Does anyone noticed that the hair at the back was painted Black instead of a dirty Blonde?

Well,I did some repaints on the hair,the stars on the chest and on the sides of upper arms too.

After I'm done with the Steve Rogers(Chris Evans) HS mold do some casting and start painting that I'll start taking better photos in poses.

Yeah, I would never expose mine to the elements.

But i'm sure the boot can be dried up real quick, probably won't hurt it.
