I'm torn between ordering from SSC or from Toys2. The problem with Toys2 is the taxes. Shipping is cheap though, since I'm in Canada.

I don't normally keep the brown shipper and if there's any problem, SSC is good about replacing/following up. For me, the free shipping alone cancels out most places right now--brillant promotion from SSC, IMO.

I wasn't worried about the shipper, but the fact that is right up against the Figures box and can easily get damage. There's a chance the figure could get damge too. And yes SSC is good about replacing/follow up, but don't want the hassle. I always order from AE and have neve had a problem. But nice that there are so many options, everyone can find one that works best for them.

Well free shipping from Sideshow completely threw off my regular plans. If I caculated right including shipping, less reward points from both AE and Sideshow it comes out to $164.98 from AE and $161.49 Sideshow.

Sideshow it is; with a savings of $3.49

I noticed this on Alter Egos CAPTAIN AMERICA page. The reason I point this out is because they don't have this tag on any of their other HOT TOYS items for sale? Why do you think that is??

Not sure, I wouldn't worry about it too much since Superman was identified in an email as their fastest selling pre-order of all time and he's still available.

And with free domestic shipping I imagine less people will order through a retailer as it is now cheaper to go through Sideshow.
