I ordered this today. Its going to be my first Hot Toys figure yes!!!!!!! :yess::fireworks :ted:fireworks
I will post pics of my Cap America when I get him.

Cap is a great figure to start out from. I bought it last year. Once you start with Hot Toys, it's a point of no return. They make the best 1/6 figures in the market, and everything else just pales in comparison.

Congrats on you purchase! It's an awesome figure! :clap

Thank you:rock.

i only started last year and already have amassed 10 figures with all the Avengers to come this year, i think the Avengers line will be the ultimate 1/6 scale figures

I have a question folks, if someone would be so kind to please help me out..

I haven't put on the shoulder strap pouch belt thing on Cap yet - when you remove the head to slip the belt on, do you need to warm up the neck ball joint first.. or does the head just pop off??

Cheers in advance people. :peace

why do you want to take his head off???:dunno:dunno

Ok then.. :lol

I did indeed try that initially, but now that I'm looking at my figure.. it seems there's a little too much neck showing, so I may have to push the head down more or something first.

A friend of mine is trying to dull down the gloss on Cap's shield. I remember seeing someone do a mod to theirs and I don't remember if there was a description of the process. Does anyone know a good way to get a satin finish on it to get it similar to the look in the movie?

I suggested https://rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=100 (for some reason Satin wasn't listed on their site) but I just wanted to get some feedback in case it turns out to be a bad idea.
