Yup. I need this guy back on my shelf. Had one once and thought I didn't really want/need him and sold him and now I want it back. Time to go scour the For Sale section.

This really is such a great fig it's hard to believe that it didn't sky rocket in price at this point. Actually it's hard to believe that it sat around on Sideshow for as long as it did when it was being offered. It's a good thing for people who are looking for it now. You probably won't be able to find it new for $170 like it originally was, but it's going around new for $220-$240. That's a very fair secondary market price for a fig this cool.

Very nice custom; I love the helmet in particular. Makes me want to go rewatch First Avenger again.

Thanks sir :duff

This is making me want to watch TFA again!:

I see this pic and all I hear is "Murphy".

:exactly: :lol

It really is a great figure. Was the first non-iron man marvel figure I purchased. Still one of my favorites. The suit is so well done. That helmet looks really cool. May go pick one up to use with the new cap Headsculpt I'm sure we will get with the winter soldier version.

this is one of my fav figures still, just hope for the shield uniform figure we get a neutral hs and a masked hs as I still don't think they have nailed Evans's likeness yet

That Cap leftover face from Bar's mod reminds me of Sid's creepy toys from Toy Story.

Killer mod though. :clap

Here's a video I did showing how I clear coated my shields.

Very helpful video brother. It helps people who are scared to mess with their figs see that little stuff like this isn't hard to do

I thought that the BD shields were ok and it was only the high gloss regular one that had the issues??? Either way I have to get on this. I have 3 regular and 2 BD all together and I've been lucky so far.

No problem. I wasn't planning on doing this as my shields were great too. I noticed the shiny shield was starting to flake on the edges a week or so ago so I decided I better go ahead and do it.

I thought my bd shield was fine until I just happen to hit it with a 600 lumen flashlight and those glowing red cracks jumped out.
