I wonder if this was produced in low numbers than some of HTs other releases? Seems like there were a lot of people saying they weren't gonna buy this Avenger and now he is hard to get.

I wish HT would release production numbers.... I'd be curious to know which are more common and which aren't. I'm guessing Fury and Hawkeye's numbers may be a little lower than say, the fab 4... IM, Cap, Thor, & Hulk.

I still find it kind of....unprofessional that I have yet to receive a shipping notification from CSC. Don't get me wrong, I'm elated that the figure is finally on the way but man....I wonder what's going on with them?

Me too bro. They may not be shady but it feels like it. Especially if you have never ordered from them. I do live close so ill try to stop by. Maybe sometime this week. I just get a little busy with work so it's hard to get there at a decent hour.

HT says DX 12 and 11 are among the figures HT said would be cut short in quantity, along with some Avengers figures. I hope this won't affect any of you guys. It's just sad.

I can say without a doubt that CSC is certainly not shady. I've been ordering from them for years, and never had an issue. I think the issue was on Sideshow's side than theirs.

So I've received my Nick Fury and I think there is something wrong with my one's suitcase... it won't open :S

Is there some trick to opening it? I mean, am I meant to do something with those latches? Or does it simply open when pulled open? Cos mine sure as Hell ain't opening.

"Limited Edition" now means "Just for now."

I'd be curious to know which are more common and which aren't. I'm guessing Fury and Hawkeye's numbers may be a little lower

Their pre-orders were likely fewer than the top tier characters, thus a smaller production run. (Look at Blade.)

I have not heard of this issue before.

I got mine yesterday and I had a bit of trouble opening the case but was successful. I pushed my thumbnail into the seam on one of the top corners of the case and the two sides started to separate. I worked my thumbnail into the other corner and it popped open.

maybe some dried paint is making hard to open. Like someone said earlier, try but something in-between the seems to help leverage it open

Mine was a little tough to open initially too. I just gently wiggled and pulled until it eventually popped open.

finally got Fury today, very solid figure right out the box, light up suitcase is the best part by far

VERY relieved to say that mine arrived from CSC today. No issues that I've found yet. Everything is there, no paint defects, and the suitcase lights up just right.

I initially decided on just the main 4 Avengers myself.
Then I realized I needed to get Black Widow too. So I just said, f__k it and got Fury. Hawkeye will be next.

-avengers movie awesome! childhood dream realized.
-hot toys announces they will make whole team to kill wallets. pass.
-thor 1 and fa:cap good enough, just need mark 7 and hulk.
-loki, tremendous. will get.
-circular formation would be the MOST AWESOMEST DISPLAY FOREVER! maybe add hawkeye and bwidow. maybe.
-got bored. bought fury. WOWed. totally.
-preordered entire team.
-coulson and chitauri will be bought.
-start quest to get wallet mutant healing factor.
-repeat process for tdkr figures.
