Yeah that's much better, hopefully from the backlash that Hot Toys is getting about screwing up the appearance of the figure they won't make the same mistake again and actually make the final product look big like the proto does here.

I agree that the looks are the worst thing, it looks really crappy compared to the proto and way worse when compared to the movie, its supposed to be a high end movie accurate collectible but its far far far from it

and as for Hot Toys fixing the problems with AOU cap, I wouldnt count on it if it costs money

Well they fixed the broken arms on the TAMS figure in their later batches, also they got so much hate on their facebook page for the QS001 proto looking girly and with bug eyes that they fixed that so I am pretty sure the AOU cap will look as good as the proto as far as the body shape goes.

The body on AOU Cap, now that I'm getting a good, look, still looks a bit on the skinny side, but hopefully by the time this goes up for pre-order it will rock. I need a Cap figure in my collection damn it!

I'm confused by all the comments that AoU Cap looks to be an improvement upon Stealth Cap. The prototype is basically the same figure- the torso doesn't have much of a V-shape or chest definition, and the head still looks a bit too big for the body. The arms are bulked up, but that's about it. Plus it seems to look a bit top heavy to my eyes, but that's just me. The final version will most certainly be different, but short of a costume change, there isn't a lot that's fundamentally different between this and the AoU Cap mockup.

Yeah it is, and its most likely just a place holder like most of the other figures

Another thing is that I don't care too much about super dynamic poses either. XD So the Strike suit has just enough articulation for me since i'm a huge museum pose guy. I like statues but there are so so many times where I'd love to just change the pose slightly and these figures allow me to do that. Like, what i'm going for right now is an awesome display of all the Avengers (and future Avengers) Standing together looking badass. It's just personal preference I think. Could the suit be a little tighter? yeah, but I still think it does look fine the way it is on it's own. I think the only figures I find to be pretty damn perfect in my collection are Winter Soldier, War Machine, and Silver Centurion.

If I wanna go by imperfections, the only thing that bugs me about all my Iron Man figures are that the helmets are way too small and the eye slits are too big but HT has seemed to be improving on that since the IM 3 line. They need to bring the proportions from that quarter scale 43 to future Iron Man 6th scale figures as the proportions were NAILED there. They finally got the helmet right along with overall body proportions.

For Cap, I just think that HT should maybe try producing different muscular tru types since there are so many different kinds of bodies, like Chris' dorito body. Probably just isn't worth the money though.

Give him the Cavill body but cut out the bottom abdominal muscle so the torso is the right length. Or maybe give him the Arnold body? Chris Evans has a serious V-shape, shoulders and chest. I think in Winter Soldier Evans was actually more jacked up than Hemsworth has been in either of the Thor movies.

After looking at the MOS body, they should just use that for the next Steve. Hell I might buy some bodies to replace these two.

Is the chest portion on a peg and able to come of to put on a different torso? Cause it kinda sucks that the neck joints are different.

It would be great if it was easy to swap out the body, without cutting the clothing up

Yeah I was looking at eBay and people have seemingly gotten the undersuit off in one piece somehow.

Canceled my PO, wasn't impressed by anything here except for the SR headsculpt and just saw the AoU Cap and realized I could save at least $100 and get that one which looks much better and get an SR sculpt later on so I have more money to save up for the QS MK XLIII, so long two pack!

I'm in the same boat with WS Black Widow, I used a $50 coupon and now I can't cancel after seeing AOU Widow

Damn, still want Stealth, but looks like they fixed the suit fitment and chest on the new AoU Cap. Looks so much better.
