Agreed. I guess the spear would go better with a battle-damaged armored figure but I just don't know if HT will make that one as well.

I'd take a battle damaged version with spear over the regular version given the choice.

I'd be inclined to say HT will pull a Rey and ultimately end up including the Kryptonite spear with this figure. However, the only thing is that it's probably easier for them to include a saber with Rey because there's already existing sabers out there that they could just simply include with the figure as opposed to having to make a new mold for one; for this Armored Bats, they'd have to fashion an entirely new accessory.

Even though I have it on PO, I think this figure would be perfect if it included a Kryptonite spear and interchangeable BD armor pieces.

They will wait and add it to the battle damaged armour figure (when they get around to that). It makes more sense, as that's when we see the spear used and all aglow..

They will wait and add it to the battle damaged armour figure (when they get around to that). It makes more sense, as that's when we see the spear used and all aglow..

If they do make a battle damaged version it will be months off yet. HT will want to make money from the regular version first.

This is possible also. Same reason why on the Marvel side of things, they won't release an Ultimate Ultron until well after they feel they've sold enough of Ultron Prime, and on the Star Wars side of things, why they won't come out with a Kylo 2.0 (with unmasked sculpt) until they feel they've sold enough of the current version first.

However, does anyone think it's possible at all that they didn't initially include the Kryptonite spear with this figure so as not to give away any film spoilers? Same reason with the Rey figure from SW why they didn't initially include a lightsaber, but then after the film had already been out, announced they were going to include the lightsaber accessory.

Regarding the Kryptonite spear though, if they ultimately release a BD version of the armor and include the Kryptonite spear with that figure, I will simply just keep this current Armored Bats and pick up the parted out spear accessory on eBay.

We always want more accessories, it's only natural - especially with the money we keep spending. However, he does use the spear mostly at a specific crucial time in the film, which is after he's received all the battle damage. So, it makes sense from that view point. He only sticks it in the ground wearin this current version of suit (non battle damaged). I would prefer that they do include it, but I don't think they will - I hope I'm wrong.

A good question, certainly a lot of us won't be buying all of them. I would have to get regular.

I want to know what's happening with the Bat Signal? Will that come as an additional option with another figure, perhaps the battle damaged suit, which would be odd. Or it could come with an angry Superman/heat vision combo, which would complete the BvS preflight set up. It would also help them sell an additional Superman, which explains why we have not yet got a heat vision version. But if they release it as a stand alone item, I fear it will be very expensive due to the added production of the separate packaging and design etc. Either way I'm getting it, like the addict I am.

That's tough.

Not sure they will make another armored batman (or apocalypse batman either for that matter), but they will inevitably make more standard Batman figures for the JL movies and if there is a stand alone batman film as well. The next standard ones might even be considered better than this. Still, a tough call.

I'd go regular Batman. He wore the suit more, and those scenes weren't as depressing as the big Batman/Superman brawl.

Also, the face plates are better in the regular, and now that the body is fixed, it's a near perfect figure.

Yeah, I love everything about the regular design and how it was portrayed in the movie however the armored version is a one movie-one chance only purchase. It's a tough decision. I'm intrigued to see how they evolve the regular Batsuit in the JL movies and the solo Batman movie.

Regular batman definitely. That is his main Costume. Armored is just to fight Superman.
