I think AOU is the better choice for a few reasons

1) Aou version looks a bit more "comic book costume" and less "tacticool". I'm displaying mine with Avengers team which I think Aou fits better. Were I displaying him more agent Barton I would go cw and let him hang with nick fury, Maria hill, and Natasha.

2) Also consider that the AOU version doesn't really have any exposed joints. So if that kinda thing bothers you then you may not want to go in the cw direction.

3) AOU can generally be had for cheaper. Especially if you don't mind a second hand one.

Good points. Point 1 applies to me as well.

Yup. Point 3. I see one in the For Sale section for $130 shipped.

I almost went with the Age of Ultron suit but I think this one has a better look personally. Looking forward to getting it, hopefully soon. Still debating on getting Ant-Man, Mark XLVI, and Falcon from Civil War too.

Congrats. It's a great looking figure. :clap

I'm passing on Ant-Man since I have the first Ant-Man figure, getting Mark 46 since I passed on Mark 45 and am reluctantly passing on CW Falcon since I have TWS Falcon. However, in hindsight, I kind of wish I waited for CW Falcon instead. Although, TWS Falcon completes my TWS collection of having the entire line; I already know I'm not going to have the entire line of CW.

It'd still be cool to have what I feel is the core of Team Cap from CW though (Cap, Bucky, Falcon).

I really want Black Panther too but I wish it had a T'Challa sculpt and more accessories so I'll probably wait.

Damn, I'm really thinking of preordering Clint too ... why can't there be an endless money supply?!! :gah:

Thats exactly why I am not getting Ant-Man even though I do really like his CW suit as well as his small part in the movie, that doesn't mean i won't add another or upgrade with the version from Ant-Man and the Wasp. I would have loved the full Winter Soldier setup (only have Fury, maybe one day I will go back) as I would at least the Team Cap side of CW but money and space says no. I wish I had skipped the Mark 45 for the 46 but I'm getting both as I already paid most of the 45 off but prefer the 46, I like CW Hawkeye more than AoU but for now both will be keeping both as I do like both looks and if it comes down to it AoU will be where ever I manage to find space for my combined Avengers and CW can join my SHIELD Agents.

For me my Team Cap line up will be CW Cap, Hawkeye and Falcon least for the time being and will face off against the Mark 46 and Black Widow. Would still like to add more to those lineups (despite not having space to display them in teams and instead other than Cap/IM who will be fighting on their own, the rest will fill empty Avengers/MCU spots) but I haven't decided which War Machine to buy and I need to find the money for Scarlett Witch... With a couple of figures not being available (though Vision could easily come from AoU) and others I'm not too bothered about I doubt I will collect all of both sides.

Same here, his solo is just round the corner though and I can't imagine them changing the costume all that much which is why it was an easy pass (same as why I'm not too bothered about a lack of Spider-Man at this point)

I keep asking myself the same thing! So many things to buy and not enough disposable income!

I actually did PO the Mk 45, but I also PO'd the Mk 46 while still making payments on the 45. I just let the 45 run its course and then when I received it, I didn't even open it up and summarily sold it on eBay and recouped my money. Wasn't trying to make a profit on it. Both suits are extremely similar, but I personally prefer the Mk 46. Also, I figured I only needed one IM figure from AoU and of the two I like the Mk 43 better, so I parted with the 45.

My CW set up will be Cap, SW, Bucky, Mk 46 and BW. Since both SW and BW come with a miniature Ant-Man, I'll count Ant-Man and have that represent the CW version. The first Ant-Man figure will represent him in what would be 1/1 scale as far as 1/6 scale goes, and the miniature Ant-Man will represent him shrunken down. I currently have the miniature Ant-Man that came with the first Ant-Man figure on the base next to him, but once I get a miniature CW version of him, I'll have that represent both miniature and CW Ant-Man.

If I do add any more CW figures, it'd probably be Falcon and BP. I see that more likely not happening though than happening.

I'm like soooooo close to just pushing that preorder button for Clint, like seriously. XD

So far my CW line-up will consist of Cap, Bucky, Falcon and the first Ant-Man + AoU SW ... on the other side there's .... just the Mk 46. XD Should I feel bad? Well, maybe I'll get BW too, kinda warming up to her but Clint would have to come first. I remember when I started collecting these, I told myself "well, there's no way I can get all of Team Cap as Hot Toys so I'll just settle for Cap and Bucky" ... now look at me throwing my money out of the window like it's nothing. XD Oh I love my hobbies. XD

Yeah, got a delay email. Kind of a bummer, but since it hasn't released in Hong Kong yet it's not unexpected.

This got delayed too?? Jesus, HT, get it together.

Not a hot toys delay.

Those sideshow emails have nothing to do with an actual hot toys delay. They are updates mostly geared toward when to have money ready. They dates sideshow use often have it scheduled to arrive at sideshow before hot toys says the figures will be out. The announced release date by hot toys for this figure extends through December 31,2016. So it has not been delayed. The sideshow dates are about flex and when the earliest people should plan to have money available and have little correlation to when hot toys expects the figures to release. Can't blame hot toys for sideshow dates.

The delay emails often are not actual delays, only updates to let flex customers know that final payment(s) have been changed. If you order early and have your last flex scheduled for the start of the anticipated release window then you should expect that payment to be pushed back if the figure doesn't release at the start of a window. There was a 6 month window for this figure. (Q3-q4) sideshow has to pick a month for these payments to end. If the ssc window is three months, say oct-dec, then they send out an email changing that window to nov-dec it's not a delay, but most the time it's reported as a delay on the forums/Facebook.
