I actually have quite an Iron Man collection lol I have the die-cast: Mark II, Mark IV, Mark IV with suit-up gantry, Neon Tech Mark IV, Mark VI, Mark VII, Mark XLIV Hulkbuster, Mark XLV, Mark XLVI, Mark XLVII, Mark L. Not to mention the quarter scales! QS: Mark III (both regular and deluxe), Mark XLII, Mark XLV. Hmm, yeah I think that's most of them, plus some War Machines too haha

Lol I've posted some pics of some of them before but that was (seemingly) long ago :lol

Mark VII's my favorite of the MCU IM suits!

I honestly would not have expected that many Iron Man figures, but it sounds like you have most/all the diecast ones.

Definitely a top tier Iron Man collection that I hope gets posed a bit more since the suits allow for that. :lol

You should take a picture of all of them together for the collection thread.

Yeah I have a good portion of the die-cast figures lol I'm waiting on the battle-damaged 85 next, and maybe pick up the regular too.

Thanks! :)

I know I know :rotfl You know I'm probably going to have them forever standing straight up and down with their ams by their sides despite them being better suited for posing :rotfl

Gosh darn, I'd love to do that someday! It'd look so coool to have them displayed en masse. Though, they're all packed/stored away at the moment, and it'd be somewhat of a chore to go through all my pile of boxes for them and unpack all of them bahaha

Sorry to turn this thread into an Iron Man figure discussion :lol

Got a coupon for 20% off this figure, good until Sunday.

Check your e-mails if you registered for Sideshow Con, could be a good time to pick it up if you've been waiting.

Was out of town on vacation and only catching up to emails now. I received that 20% off coupon but it is already expired. Shame, as I would have picked it up with that discount.

The price with that coupon was nice but I just couldn't pull the trigger. It's my least favorite Cap suit in the MCU, no matter how good the figure looks. I can't find it now, but there was a version in the concept art that I always thought was better than what they decided to go with in the end.

I actually went ahead and got it myself just because I don't mind having that version with the final battle suit also. I also know which concept your talking about definitley the better look.

Yeah Concept Cap is a very nice figure! It was my first 1/6 CA figure and then I ended up getting other versions of Cap too 😁 If I'm not mistaken, the consensus was it is the best Cap proportionally as it captures the actor's on screen physique the most.

Oh yes for sure! definitely the best body and how they tailored the suit to have the traps. I think that's all to do with the tailoring rather than padding under there, though I don't have one to verify. I actually bought a body that has the the same, bigger arms as the Concept Art figure (MoS/Darth Vader), just so I can port the arms over to my endgame Cap to help fill out the sleeves some and it'll basically be the same body as the Concept Art version.

What I meant in my previous post though, was there was a version of the Avengers 1 suit in concept art book that I preferred more than the final design chosen to be in the movie, not the concept art figure :wink1:

Oh whoopsie daisy I didn't read your post correctly and just saw "concept art" :slap:lol

Everyone's pictures are too enabling :lol

Thanks to Sideshow's pre Black Friday deals - laughable as am sure, with everything costing$$$$ there will be mega sales all over as retailers fight for dollars - finally ordered this one (threw my RPs in as well).

That probably winds up my Cap/Golden-Age-of-MCU collecting unless they re-release a classic Winter Soldier with the *&%# knife this time. I stopped at Civil War as unlike the rest of universe, didn't think that much of IW/EG and - I didn't like HT's move to plastic cloth. (Maybe one day HT will re-release a classic scale mail clap with better materials $$$$$).

Which this version may have; it's hard to tell. But it's my last opportunity (probably) to get an Avengers Cap, and I like the sort of cheesy retro look. Besides Ultron Cap, it's a pop of color. Unusually for me too, since IMO the older figs have a kind of charm - I think I actually do prefer this version. The uniform on the original looks like it doesn't fit that well, at least in pictures.

As some say, we're all enablers! :rotfl

Nice! This is a great fig for sure, hope you'll be happy with it, plus it's from a (now) classic Marvel movie! Regarding the suit material, I can see why they went with the more vinyl-y fabric material, to get more of a streamlined look, and maybe they'll continue to improve on it; when I looked at EG scale mail Cap next to CW Cap it was apparent to me how much sharper the EG looked in comparison. That's my own opinion, as some vastly prefer the previous cloth outfits (though I do appreciate both).

the shield buckles on mine all broke

at least he can still hold the scepter.
Am sorry to hear it. Getting the impression from vids the shield straps can be a pain. But they have been on other figs as well. Sometimes I cheat and just use thin coated wire to position a shield.

Yeah Zurdo for sure the vinyl canvas material fits close but think it was a poor choice for IW Cap, where I think it really needed torn cloth layers. Just my opinion. That material works well on my Concept Cap. Hope I'll be happy with if here the pictures look great.

Yikes! :horror

I find the buckles on the 1/6 shields to be fiddly so I don't really mess with them. Of course, AoU has the best functionality with the magnets. For the others, I just remove the hand from the figure and just slide the arm through the straps and push it up 'til it's nicely snug. Even though his hand is missing I can't be too bothered since the shield hides it :lol

Agree, I think a good mix of cloth is needed for some figures too. Yeah it's great on Concept Cap, since, well it's a concept 🤣 Yeah I'm sure you'll find it to be a nice figure!
