Hot Toys P2 elder value?

I've said this before, but I really hate that I didn't pick up the Elder I saw for $175 at two different shows (same guy selling) about a year ago.

i would not sell my p2 elder because, imo its one of the best 1/6 pices out there. would really think twice before selling this bad boy........as it is he's hard to come by.

For that kinda money, I'd sell my $150 investment in a heartbeat. $300 profit is pretty good. I think $450-500 is the ceiling price for this guy. I don't see him getting anymore than that in the near future.

After seeing that auction, I've been thinking of selling mine to funds new things. Brand new, too. I've been researching to sell it, which is how I came across it. To think I was gonna list it for $199 buy it now. lol ..

Ah you and me both. Like late winter only a few months ago I walked by a comic shop in the city and they had 2 of them for sale at $144.95 a piece. I decided that I didn't need it there and then because I didn't want to carry it and I was heading to work directly after. A few weeks later when I called them, they had listed both on ebay. *******s.

Would be kind of strange if a guy could sell his P2 Elder that he paid 150 for and get a Tumbler out of it.....

not trying to derail thread, but I have similar question. do you guys think that the Hot Toys AVP preds will continue to go up in value? I have them all MIB and had no intention of selling. However, I am thinking that I could sell them to help fund the fabulous predator cinemaquette. I wouldn't sell them otherwise, but I would think of it as like I traded some action figures for a badass $2000 statue

i think they have reached there peak in price. MIB are very sought after

Value of P2 elder for the original poster. It looks like the average price US on ebay MIB is around $450. Highest mib recently was $475 and lowest mib was $420

Wow, I feel real poor. I'm only getting 1 Cleaner, and it's the exclusive.

That's all I got. I'm not looking to make money off of them, just get them for myself to enjoy. If in the future I have to sell them, then I hope they go for a good price.

This is just my opinion, and I'm not slamming anyone, but I wish there was a limit of 1 per address on the exclusives (any line), at least for the first go round. I know too many collectors who don't get things because people buy them up to resell later. Some exclusives sell out in minutes and as soon as they're shipped they're on eBay.

Just my little vent.
