Not if they don't have the likeness rights to those actors. That is usually one of the biggest reasons as to why HT can't make certain characters.

They got the license through SSC didn't they? They've had the rights for those actors for years. Let's face it, Francesco Quin(Rhah), Kieth David(King) and John C. Mcginnley(Red) are not that famous to hold out on a license. It's a longshot for sure BUT...

Y'know I had the same thought. Although, looking at Barnes in particular - how much better could it possibly get? That was a likeness nailed if ever there was one. And I can't imagine the detail and paint getting much if any more advanced than that at this size.

Relax buddy, there are no pictures of Elias at the moment. It was just a statement from Hot Toys Japan website that they are not finished the Platoon line yet. I assume Facebook is the website you are referring to..

I can see CREG customs doing that, he did a BD version of Taylor with the AK ^ Keep your eyes peeled on the forums after Elias comes out.

True, I guess I was basing my comment on the Super Preds and Shadow compared to Classic Pred. Classic makes them look a step behind IMHO, however, we are talking about Barnes bad a$$ sculpt and your right, can't get much better than that. Hope they atleast get the color right on the uniforms.

Yep I want them to do that, get the colour right. I don't care that it wouldn't be consistent with the other 2, not when I'd intend to buy the clothes parted out to replace on Taylor and Barnes.

Perhaps it's a business strategy on the part of HT. They make Taylor & Barnes uniforms off-color, make you wait awhile, then make the must have for the trio in Elias and make HIS uniform more accurate and force ppl to buy more Elias's to re-wardrobe Taylor & Barnes and profit. Either way...I'm in

If Lerner gets made 1st it will be disappointing
but if that's the case HT should make a solid announcement that Elias is not far behind! Don't make us wait another year and a-half for Elias! You've got the skills HT, just pop these guys out, you've had us wait long enough!
